PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
- Short dark, brown to black hair. Brown eyes and stands at an average height for a male his age. Usually when Jake isn't wearing his school robes he can been seen in dark grey jeans, black/dark jackets and casual t-shirts or polo shirts, with white trainers.
Jake recently has started taking a lot of pride in his appearance. He now actually tries to tame his hair by jelling it up. He likes to wear one silver ring, he has one piercing; his ear, and he does have a few scars caused from stunts he used to do in his first couple of years at school.
PERSONALITY, TRAITS & QUIRKS
- Jake used to be a very hyperactive child. He probably had ADD (attention disorder,) but recently he's been calming down a bit. He's still hyper at times, just not as much as he used to be. He loves to have a good time with his friends, usually doing stunts and silly games. But he has dyed down a little with his stunts.
Jake is a bit of a daddy's boy, and a total mummy's boy. Whatever mummy and daddy say, goes. With his father it's more like; I wouldn't dare p!ss father off. But with his step mum it's more around the lines of; I wouldn't want to p!ss mother off, as in I love her too much to want to cause her any stress. Jake is defiantly loyal to his family, regardless if it's from fear or love.
Jake isn't much of a person to lie to his family, not unless he absolutely has to; like over his current girlfriend who's in Hufflepuff. If his father knew he wasn't dating in his own house, he'd pitch a fit. Jake has no problems lying to anyone out side of the family, he probably lies to those people all the time, especially if it means getting out of trouble or getting what he wants.
Jake's more of a lover than a fighter, but if he absolutely has to put his fists up, he will. He is a Binx after all, so he's bound to fight at some point or another, or if you want to look at it like this; his fuse is bound to run out sooner or later. On saying all that about his temper, it is slowly getting worse, he's growing more and more like his father as he gets older. Who knows how long it will be before he's the spitting image both looks and personality of his dad. And that won't be a good thing when it does happen. ;)
HISTORY & PAST
- Jake came to live with his father and step mum about three years ago, when his birth mother passed away. Jake had never known his father up until that point, his mother never told him anything about Johnny, nothing at all. Jake had asked things of course, but she'd never tell him anything.
It was only thanks to someone in the Ministry who contacted Seth Binx letting him know that his nephew was mentioned in Jake's mother's will, when Jake finally got his answers over his father. Straight away after Seth learned about Jake and this will, he butted in and collected Jake bringing him to Johnny.
Of course at first Johnny would have none of this over Jake, he didn't want Jake or anything to do with him (Jake didn't know about this,) Johnny wouldn't be Johnny if he didn't react like that. But after much convincing from Misty, Nathan and Seth, he finally caved in and took Jake in.
Not too long after moving in with his father and step mum, he got his letter of acceptance to Hogwarts, he was totally thrilled about this and couldn't wait to go to school. He settled into the school quickly masking a few friends in his house, and of course he had his aunt Michelle with him as well. So he was bound to settle in quick with family already there.
