PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Jaidyn has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He has his right ear pierced and will openly wear an earing in it. He used to have his left ear pierced, but during a football game, it was torn out of his ear. He still has a scar left from the accident. The boy stands roughly six feet tall in height and weighs roughly 150lbs. He is very muscular and well built, for he does train his body every day. He's not overly built, he's pretty much just right. He wears whatever is comfortable, but often it's anything that's sweats and a t-shirt or a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
PERSONALITY, TRAITS & QUIRKS
Jaidyn is sometimes serious, when it comes to his studies or sports. He somtimes is a sore loser, but for the most part he's a good guy. He can be a complete goof ball at times, since he loves to have fun. But he isn't one to be crossed. He can have a temper, but mainly saves it for those who deserve it. He learned to control his anger growing up while dealing with horrible football referees who never seemed to be able to call penalities correctly. He tends to consider himself a defender of the weak and simply a good guy. However, he sometimes can be distant and not associate with people. If he sees someone getting picked on, he'll stick up for them. He's not really afraid of the Slytherin kids. He really does love peace and quiet when he can get it.
HISTORY & PAST
William and Rose Bloom had their first child in 1974, Jaidyn's elder sister Melissa. From a young age, Missy was taught music. She was very good at it. Jaidyn was born three years later. From a very young age, Jay also showed a strong musical ability. Missy was taught piano while Jay learned how to play the violin. There were sometimes when the boy grew frustrated and tried to break his violin. When Jaidyn was three, his first younger sister was born. Within the next year, Missy started showing signs of magic. Whenever she got frustrated with songs, the strings in the piano would snap. At the age of five, his youngest sister Layna was born. When Missy was eight, she caused the pedals and all the keys to actually break free when her instructor told her she was doing the song wrong, when she had been doing it right. Jaidyn had been nervous at that outburst. Of course, he soon shortly had his own outburst.
At the age of six, Jaidyn wanted to play football more then he wanted to play his violin. However, his parents wanted him to keep up his lessons, because he was a talented violinist. In a fit, Jaidyn turned all the words that came out of his parents mouths into musical sounds. His father's words sounded like someone playing piano keys while his mother's sounded like a flute. It was horrible to hear. His sister Karolyn, who had been forced into taking up the flute, had ran from the room in shock at the accident. Needless to say, Jaidyn began to learn how to play football, but he agreed to keep up his violin lessons.
Layna started clarinet lessons, and wasn't quite happy about it. Melissa was the only one who was fine with music. Karolyn, who saw her brother's freedom, began to demand being allowed to become a cheerleader. After a year, they finally allowed her to start learning to cheerlead as long as she kept up playing her flute. It was no surprise to either parent when Missy got her Hogwarts letter, Rose had known for quite a while that her husband was a wizard. She was alright with this. After Melissa had left, it became apparant that Layna had an ability for art.
When he was ten, Jaidyn convinced his parents to let him get his left ear pierced. Six months later, the earing was torn from his ear during a football match. He didn't let that keep him away from having an earing. Two months later, he was asking his parents to let him pierce his other ear. Whether it was because he kept bugging him, or they didn't care, they let him pierce his right ear.
Starting Hogwarts hadn't been easy for Jay, but he at least had Missy to teach him everything he needed. Having three sisters left him pretty open for making more female friends then male friends. But football had taught him how to get along with the male population. Whenever he wasn't in class, he was often out on the ground kicking around his football or training. For over the summers, he played in a soccer league. He also played in an indoor soccer league during his winter break. He actually did bring his violin with him to Hogwarts, choosing the lake as the perfect place to practice. But he always made sure to make time to study for school because he did not want to do horrible on any major exams, especially the OWLs and NEWTs.
