Appearance

A petite figure the young woman has, with a wirey structure and spindly limbs making her look almost breakable to the touch. Her pale skin is almost white in colour, a huge contrast from her dark oak hair falling down near her waste though almost always backcombed into a bushy mess. Her large blue eyes have a slight glazed over look about them and are usually slicked with a black liner, drawing thick lines up her temples while her lips are usually coated with a deep red lipstick. Leahnzra has what some would say a pretty face though with an old fashioned, gothic look about her that seems to flesh out her aura. She isn't particularly a tall girl though she has a tendancy to wear high heels a lot of the time, except when working and her clothes are sometimes more revealing than most girls would be comfortable with though she isn't one to ever worry what others think. Though she comes from an Spanish background, Leah was always seen as the outcast of the family as she never inherited any trates, and was as pale as anything. At first her family thought it was due to illness, but it was later confirmed that there was nothing unusual about the colour.

Personality

Leahnzra looks the type of girl to stand out in the crowd and be totally obnoxious though in truth, this is actually quite the opposite of it. Leah is the type of girl to make people piece together a kind of image of her as being loud and selfish though actually she is the kind of girl to sink into the background and indulge in minimal conversation, letting others look rather than actually engaging in any conversation with anyone. Her tone of voice and vocabularly may be varied and wide which lets people think she came from a posh background and though this is true, Leahnzra broke from her posh girl heritage a long time ago at the death of her family. However her personality can be quite contrasted, particularly near to the full moon and she can be snappy and quite cruel, her mind devious and a little twisted in the way she thinks. Strangely enough, she also has an almost obsession with pests like rats, mice and insects that has been with her throughout childhood.

Some would say Leah is a cold person as no warmth seems to emit from her and in most cases this is true, though actually, when she comes across someone she decides is worth her time, Leahnzra can actually be quite a protective person; she is passionate and a simmering fire flickers in her chest. Though she can be a distant person, Leah can be vicious at times, much to do with the werewolf within her. Her profession is something that some people look down at her for, seeing it as quite a strange job (almost a hobby for her) though she makes no move to justify herself; it's just what she does. These days she spends her time staring at her pet rats in her home, reading books in the fields and smoking and drinking when out.

Muggle History

Leahnzra was born from a teenage one-night-stand, a birth that sparked a new found love in the small Colabella family. As a child, Leah grew up in the house, mostly with her grandmother. She was a bright child, learning new skills and picking up the language quite fast for her age. She began walking on her first birthday and by her second, she mastered the stairs to the attic and could climb the steps onto the terrace though Águeda soon had a lock for the attic so that Leah couldn't accidentally fall. She didn't really spend too much time outside until the age of about ten when she finally began playing outside with the other children as she usually kept her distance, not totally aware of how to communicate with them as she was quite a shy child, more content with getting her school work done than socializing.

At the age of 12, Leah began talking to people and even though there was no male influence in her family, in her teen years Leah was actually quite masculine with the way she acted and spoke, definitely not the feminine lady people expected her to turn out like though that was mainly due to her friends who happened to be mainly boys who would try to get Leah to talk more as she was a pretty face that never spoke. The girls just didn't tend to like her though she never understood why. At school Leahnzra never really spoke to many people and kept to herself most of the time though occasionally she'd spend lunch times and breaks with some of the guys she knew but it was rare as some of them had become tired of Leahnzra's moody persona, their hope in her to suddenly become exciting was dying.

At the age of 14, Leah's mother contracted cancer and it brought the small family to pieces. During this time, Leah went into depression, sinking into her bedroom all the time, not speaking to anyone even more so and it was tearing her family apart. It was also during this time where the girl began to develop a sinister hatered towards the world and all the people, moulding her persona into a cruel and hateful person. Just three months later, Moyra passed away. Leahnzra refused to leave the house and Águeda had no idea how to handle the hormonal teenager. A few weeks before Leahnzra's 15th birthday, the girl began coming out of her shell again, only this time it was revealing a disturbed teenager who had developed an unhealthy obsession with mice that had nested in her room.

Leahnzra, at 15 Águeda tried to get her to leave the room but the girl protested, however, after some debate Leah decided to go out more. Things started to get back on track and soon her mice obsession was dwindling away the more time she spent with her friends and she even let the mice she had in her room out now, no longer taking ownership of them. She still held a love for animals though it was the kind of love that made her not totally care about them, but more be interested in them. Her most loved lesson was science where she could disect the animals in school as she was just so interested in them. Her personality was still a little dark and she had developed a deep goth look but she was making some friends even though she preferred to sink into the background.

The Bite

Leahnzra was 17 at the time and came home after school and brought a book from her library outside to the nearby field she liked to visit every now and then. Wolves were certainly not common in Madrid but tonight things were different. Leah turned the page of her leatherbound book when suddenly her ears were aquainted with a low rumbling sound. At first, the girl paid little attention to it, but when the sound came louder, Leahnzra snapped her head up and scurried to her feet, squinting her eyes to see through the darkness. Soon enough, she found out that she didn't need to squint as two piercing eyes were luminous against the black of the air. Initially, Leahnzra ran as fast as she could but the wolf caught her up easily, pushing her to the ground. The girl screamed callings that fell to deaf ears as she tried to pry the wolf from her. She was injured on her right arm before some people finally came round and began chasing the wolf with their weapons.

Life As A Werewolf

At the age of 18, she found her grandmother asleep on the terrace; she never woke up. This shook the woman deeply and the first thing she did after the funeral was go out and buy two pet rats that she homed in the draughty house that was left to her. The interest was back and the habits - that had become less obvious - came back to haunt her. Also, she paid more attention to her heightened senses and these new changes excited, but Leah soon discovered that this wasn't a gift but a curse.

A full moon shone majestically and Leah was outside in the field reading a book when she changed. At first the woman began vomiting a few times before her muscles began clicking and her body hunched over; she was changing. Completely oblivious to what was happening, Leah was screaming on the floor, an excruciating pain overwhelming her, as well as a ravenous hunger. She awoke in the same field but naked, her clothes lying tattered around her. Returning home, Leah cowered in her bedroom, crying, trying to put together the previous night. Leah never told anyone what had happened for fear of being more of an outcast than she already was. The second time it happened, Leah was in England for a visit. She was taking a walk in the woods in the country where it happened all over again. Returning home, Leahnzra knew something about her wasn't right and she put the pieces together to behold a horrid conclusion. Leah had heard of Werewolves but they were just a myth.. so she thought, but the similarities were too great to ignore.

The third time it happened, Leah was prepared for it and was in North America where she heard wolves were quite common in hope she would find someone like her. Leahnzra still lived in Spain but had moved to Valencia where she set up her small Pest Control business that she was still interested in. She would have liked to move to somewhere to set up her business and she could hide in wood during full moons but this proved difficult. Every full moon she continued to change but was now preparing for it, usually away from Spain and in countries where wolves were common so she could handle it more easily. She enjoyed travelling anyway and with the money she still had from her mother and grandmothers death, this was easier for her to afford. Secretly she hopes that she will one day find her father somehow, but it is a hope that is dying. She spends her days now travelling and working wherever she can.

Interests

Rats: During Leah's depression she had not cleaned the place and it was accumulating rather a lot of pests. The girl had developed a strange obsession and watched the animal every day, never really taking her eyes off it. Soon enough, another rat had joined and Leah was becomming more obsessed with them. By the time Águeda discovered this strange obsession Leah had, it was far too late to be helped; Leah looked after the mice in her room and even began picking up habits of the pests: she would twitch her nose subconciously and snap her head to the side at loud noises, before almost scurrying away from them. The depression had wiped away any personality the girl had left, a clean slate that was being re-written by the influences around her - the mice.
