PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Mary has short blond hair cut in your average pixie style. Is about 5'9 in height and 165 in weight, with an boyish shape. While her face, she has almond shape forest green eyes, one of which is a bit rounder then the other. Has a regular shaped nose, nostrils though are slightly off in size compared to the other, nothing notable though. Her lips are of a light rosy pink shade, and are one fuller side of things.

Her skin is mix of her Mother's porcelain white and her Father's rich olive tone, so her skin is of more of a beige tone. It is soft and warm to the touch, while it is marked with various scars from her work.

Mary is, overall, what most would qualify as a beautiful specimen. She has only minor flaws to her body and appearance. And believe me, she knows it.

PERSONALITY, TRAITS & QUIRKS

While in her teenage years she definitely was a wild child. Full of herself, independence, and in her place in life, never really caring about what authority said. Just your average immature spoiled pureblood princess. But when she got pregnant right before Winter Break her last year at Hogwarts with Cate, she was force to do a lot of growing up, fast. Her family, well her parents at least, taking a step away, pretty much washing their hands of her.

Mary did do a lot of growing up, and still is. Cate and her job keeping her on the edge of her toes, and has caused her mother hen nature inherited from her own Mother to come out in full force. Though she is no where the same wild child of her youth, as Cate grew up, a lot of her formal personality began to resurface. Imaginative games that were once designed to keep her self busy and distracted, now used to keep the mind of a young witch busy. Her narcissistic tendencies now outward faced. In that, while her younger self always bragged about her family status, and herself, now she often brags about how well Cate is doing in school, and how she is going to go on to wonderful things.

She is a very proud Momma, Cate being the apple in her eye, etc. While her dabbles into romance, have only left her heart broken, and cynical of love. Mary though is not immune to the need for love and romance like all girls have deep down inside them, that hidden romantic needing to be swept off ones feet.

The Mary of today is but a shadow of her teenage self. She no longer is a wild child, her responsibilities of being a Mother and her work not allowing for it. She no longer prescribes to the pureblood supremacy philosophy she was raised to believe, she now is much more accepting as an individual. As well as being much calmer, her wicked temper having to been ... doused a bit. As well as her patience level has gotten a serious boost, between her daughter and her job (she still can't understand how people think its her job to get rid of their houses Bundimun problem).

Thirty-six year old Mary in a nutshell is a intelligent strong woman. Who likes to have a fun time, and enjoys her job. She is very caring, and no one is immune to her Mother Hen nature.

HISTORY & PAST

Born on September 3rd, 1959 to Guido and Gwenna LaPello, Mary was their fifth child, and first girl to the happy couple. Them having met while Guido was in Wales on business from his native Italy. Her childhood was that of your average rich pureblood brat, but with the edge of four older brothers.

She went to Hogwarts at the proper age, was sorted into Slytherin, and her time there was average. She did fairly well at her studies, an owl from home if her grades stooped to ... an unacceptable levels. Her best subject by far being Care of Magical Creatures, Mary having a gift with animals almost. Then she entered her seventh year, and all ... went to hell you could say. Mary was a party girl, and she would often do said partying with two individuals in particular Frank Jamerson and his best mate, Jack Turner. Her and Jack's relationship always had a physical side to it. Well one time in December Mary woke up next to Jack, same old same old, they went on their separate ways with a wish for each other to have a happy holidays.

Well Mary's was, till the end of it and she woke up to puking nearly every other morning in the week leading up to her return to Hogwarts. She just passed it off as a flu bug, figuring it nothing major. Well after it continued after a week of being back at school she went to see Pomfrey for something to help fight it. Pomfrey ran some tests to make sure it was the flu, and well the results did show a foreign body had taken up home in Mary. Just foreign body that in nine months would be tiny little wizard or witch.

As much as Mary didn't want to believe it, or anyone else hearing about it. She was forced to though, when she got a rather...formal letter from her Father saying she better soon be announcing an engagment to the baby's father, or she'd find herself disowned. Knowing what she had to do, Mary approached Jake and told him, that he was to be a Father, instead of getting some sort of support out of him, she pretty much got told good luck with that. To say the least, she was devastated. Not knowing what to do she wrote to her brothers Tony and Guido Jr (the black sheep of the family). Guido offered her nothing but support, the same with Tony, she even received a letter of support from her brother Jon (who also offered to convince the boy other wise).

Well Mary soon found herself receiving a letter from her parents saying more or less, that their ties were cut. She was devastated to say the least. Though she couldn't let it get to her to much her NEWTs were fast approaching, as well as her graduation. She tended to only venture out for classes, and the occasional meal, staying mostly in her dorm room or out on the lawns by herself hidden almost, not being able to take the stares and whispers sent her way as her stomach began to grow and show. Graduation didn't come soon enough, and when it did, she almost wished it hadn't. Since graduation meant she had to enter the real world, and the reality that she was pregnant eighteen year old, who pretty much had no parents. Luckily years previous Mary had fallen into the good of graces of old spinster of great Aunt (who insisted that Mary was the reincarnation of her Mother, Mary's Great-Grandmother) who left Mary a comfortable amount of gold, and more importantly, a house in London.

With the help of her older brothers Guido and Tony, Guido helping clean the house of the cob webs, and Tony bring over what ever she had left at their parents house. The house wasn't much, but it gave her a roof over her head, and as much as she couldn't take advantage of it in her present state, their was plenty of space outside for a garden. In the beginning of July, a month away from her due date, she got a surprise visitor. Jacob Turner saying that he had been doing some thinking about the whole thing, and well the duo talked, and decided to get married. The following Friday they had a small ceremony.

Then on August 4th, 1978 their daughter, Caterina Marilyn Turner (aka her little Cate) was born screaming into the world. Mary's and Jack's marriage was hardly a pleasant affair, arguments were a plenty, and Mary's training and job required her to work odd hours which caused them to see little each other. Well when Cate was four, it grew to much for Mary, she always had a feeling that Jack may have been cheating on her, but finding him in bed with another woman (Cate in the other room no less) was all the evidence she needed. She kicked Jack out that day, and the next began the proceedings for divorce (the bastard didn't even fight for any sort of custody of Cate).

She was an emotional wreck during the process, and afterward for a while. Only feeling anything other then depressed besides for when she was around Cate. Her perfect, beautiful little girl. As time went on she began to 'normal' out you could say, and she had to. Between a four going on five year old daughter, and her job, she needed all her energy and wits about her.

Mary is now 37, with a 18 year old daughter. She is one of the top in career in Europe, and loving it. Though she takes huge risks, and within the privacy of her own home she has been known to cure 'dark' creatures. Even traveling to use her skills on werewolves. Dark creatures and werewolves always having been her favorite creatures. Other then that she spends the most of her free time in her garden, whatever time she can with Cate, and having her nieces and nephews over as much as possible.
