Mateus looks nothing like his parents to an extend where many believe him to be adopted, regardless that he isn't. Mat is tall and broad, with thick shoulders and a very jock-esque body structure. He is ribbed with muscles and stands at a very sturdy height of 6 feet. He is gruff looking, very cheeky and comes across as rather manly in appearance, his jaw square and features broad. Dark hair combs his scalp and hazel eyes are adorned by thin lashes. Mat is often seen with some sort of good natured smirk and typically has pale skin but it is often seen has tanned due to his time in the sun, creasing his skin into a golden milk-tea colour.

In the most plausible of structures, Mateus is loyal. He holds your existence within the palm of his hand, acquirable to the most passionate of standards. Mat, he is fierce, he is compassionate, he is domineering, he is possessive. Those who mean a lot to him, he would guard with all his might, all his willpower. He can even come across as harsh or even callous to those whom he cares about, just to keep them safe. Due to this, Mateus can appear to be extremely pig-headed, decisive, close-minded and even blind to the opinions of others, he himself holding that of extreme insecurity over said individuals and he will turn a blindsided eye to their beliefs, only insisting on his own.

Hypocritical, critizing, clingy, these are all negative traits that elope against Mateus's disposition. He can be cynical if not a little sarcastic, and often holds the nickname of 'asshole' high above his head due to this. He is however, caring and optimistic but sometimes it is a little difficult to show this in the most straightforwards of ways. Mateus like his father, enjoys pranks and making fun of others, deviant and shallow he will use people for his own gain, much like his dad to his mother.

Mateus whilst extremely fit and athletic, is a bad sportsmanship and can be biased, even unfair and sulky if he doesn't get his intended way. To this, he can be ambitious so that what he wants, is what he gets.

It was a love based on lies that ripped two cities apart. It was a love based on the importance of someone who wanted selfish deeds and someone who's mind had been a playwright written for content. It was a tragedy, not a romance and Sidney Cain brandished his sardonic and sick mind into the likes of mentally disordered and amnesic Jesse Van Der Sim, only because he wanted a girl to play with during the night.

And little did he know that to an extend, he was to fall for her- fall for her hard. Fall for her like he had never done before, and this was saying something because Sidney Carsyn Cain did not just fall in love. But he did, and he fell in love with her as their castle crumpled down with dishonesty and lies.

But she loved him too, even after the truth had been told in the most brutal of manner. There was no denying that they loved each other, no matter what had happened in between and so they married because it was the only sane thing to do.

Mateus Franz Cain was born on the 8th of October 1999, brawnish and brave with his mop of messy hair cropped around his shining face. Sidney and Jesse had both moved to Waddlestone shortly after their marriage in early 1999, and so Mateus too, was to be raised and nourished within the small village. However not long into Mateus' first few hours of birth, the unfortunate occurred and Jesse Cain passed within 75 minutes of knowing her child. It had been complications from the memory charm that had plagued her long ago as well as birthing complications that had resulted to her death, something that both Sid and Mateus both felt resentment over, as if her passing was both their fault entirely.

The next two years were torturous. With Sid being a mere twenty years old and hardly ready to raise a child by himself, he had consulted to perhaps his only friend, Tamsin Gooblydash for comfort. She sufficed as the mother figure, helping Sid raise Mateus to his possible best. It was complicated, with Mateus regarding Tamsin as a motherly figure despite her commitment to her own husband, Ringo and this was the main source of ill-treated conflict for the boy. However he managed to flourish under 'Auntie' Tamsin and Sid's care and any financial issues were often covered up, much to Sid's embarrassment. And regardless the multitude of bickering and wicked-minded arguments that Mateus held towards Tamsin, he ultimately loved her like any son would love his mother. Even if Tamsin evidently, wasn't his mother.

The Cain's house situated itself next to another family with two children whom Mateus soon grew to love as his other thirds- two best friends, both brother and sister. Growing up, Mateus was both sporty and fit, holding a very athletic stance. He substituted his time into muggle and magical sports, and was always outdoors. He had no time for reading or learning or watching TV but instead allowed himself to enjoy his sporting talent as much as he wanted.

He was never a very smart boy and often fell behind in muggle school, and so when his letter arrived recalling his date with Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft & Wizardry, he was both ecstatic and excited. His mother had contemplated sending him off to Beauxbatons, but Mat's father had told her that the sporting facility was way better in Hogwarts, and so Mateus' schooling career was set.

Arriving at Hogwarts, like expected, he fell back in school work and often needed various tutors to help him catch up. However, most of his free time involved mucking around with mates or practicing quidditch (by his second year, Mateus had made it to his houses team as a beater.) It seemed that studying was the last of his worries and Mat would proceed to score exceptionally low marks, sadly earning him many detentions. Not that Mateus cared all that much (his father however, was never too happy with this.)

His sorting into Slytherin was no utter suprise. With a father like the Sidney Carsyn Cain, of course there was to be some venom slithering around in his bloodstream. And yet, whilst in the house of the serpents, his two best friends relocated themselves into Gryffindor and Slytherin respectably. House debating was often set aside for his loyalty to his friends, all cunningness exceeded. Perhaps as a result of a rough childhood, Mateus grew up to be a troubled teen, often talking back with vigor and disrespecting professors and students alike. At once stage, he even got kicked out of the quidditch team as punishment for his conspiring actions.

With less than acceptable OWL and NEWT's, Mateus straight away indulged himself into the national Quidditch league, quickly earning himself a spot on the Kenmare Kestrals (who thankfully didn't really care all too much about the number of 'T's on his report card but rather focus on his ability) which jetsetted his career in an approachable path.

And so Mateus cherishes within his sporting ability (both muggle and magical) to flick his life with speckles of care-free notions. Things like growing up and bills and work and schooling- they're not all that important to Mateus. Reality will hit him hard some day but for now... for now it can wait.
