Appearance: Reese stands at an average height of about 5’6” with an average weight. She has curly brown hair, blue/green eyes, and some light freckles on her skin. As for personal style, it’s rather eclectic. Because she travels so much, she’s used to adjusting her clothing to the culture and climate. Otherwise her standard attire consists of cargo pants, basic t-shirts paired with the occasional hoodie, and trainers.

Personality: She’s a sharp person who speaks her mind, but her sparkling wit is more charming than snobby. Smart, but smart enough to know that she doesn’t know it all. Reese loves to laugh, always appreciating a good joke. In her spare time, she doodles comics for her own amusement. She’s also learned the importance of being respectful considering how many different people and cultures she’s worked with/wants to work with.

History/Past: Reese was born and raised in rural Maryland on a farm, though neither of her parents had agricultural backgrounds. Her father is a historian who works with the United States Ministry. Her mother was an office manager, but passed away when Reese was eight. Her life otherwise was somewhat dull, but overall she couldn’t complain. At least things became more interesting when she attended the Salem Institute. There, she managed to get above average marks. But it’s actually where she discovered her true calling: photography.

Her father had shown her some magical pictures, but because they lived in a muggle area, she wasn’t allowed to keep them out. But one of the art teachers at the Institute encouraged Reese’s interest in art and before she knew it, she was the chief photographer for the school’s successful paper and obtained a coveted year-long internship with the UK’s Daily Prophet upon graduation, (combining her passion for photography and travel). Her graduation gift from her father and sister was an exquisite magical camera, all the accessories, and a fine though somewhat worn leather carrying bag.

After a successful internship stint with the Daily Prophet, Reese formed a working relationship with them as she officially went freelance. So she gets the best of both worlds in having a mostly-steady income while also having freedom to choose other projects.

Interests/Hobbies: Photography, traveling, rock climbing, swimming, drawing, Star Trek, classic literature, capture the flag, eating ethnic foods (but not cooking them herself).

Pets: No interest in pets. While she loves animals, she loves traveling too much to worry about caring for pets.

Family Position: Oldest child. She has one younger sister named Leah, (also magical).

Favorite Class and Why: Charms and Potions, the way to make her art really come to life.

Least Favorite Class and Why: Arithmancy, because she’s not a fan of numbers.
