A blonde headed girl with light-blue eyes, with hair that falls in waves. She's less than average height, standing at 5 foot 3 inches. She's slender yet curvy, weighing in at 134lbs. She has small hands and feet, and looks very pixie-ish in her stature. When she isn't wearing her school robes, she can be seen in dresses and skirts quite often, with her hair pulled back into a ponytail or loose bun. Her ears are pierced, and she'll usually wear blue crystal studs that match the color of her eyes.
Scarlette is a very mature young lady, and she's very reserved to people who don't know her well. She loves to have fun, something that is the driving motive behind a lot of her actions, and can be quite the troublemaker, but on a normal day, she's really just mellow. It takes the right companion (or cohort, depending on what she's doing) to bring out the mischievous, fun-loving side of her. She's a complete teacher's pet when she needs to be, and has no problem with that. Scarlette keeps a close group of only a few people as true friends, and the rest she only uses to get what she wants. She loves to duel, and will always take on a challenge. She 's quick to judge someone based on their actions. When under pressure, her emotions always get the best of her, and she wears them on her sleeve. Scarlette is definitely not the best decision maker in the world, but she's not dim-witted by any means.
Scarlette has a habit of letting her mind wander, and getting distracted quite easily, even while holding conversations with people. She also sighs frequently, giving off the sense that she doesn't care, when really she isn't aware that she's sighing most of the time. Ms. Cooper is a girl that craves attention, yet thoroughly enjoys her solitude as well.
Scarlette was born on April 13th, 1979 , and comes from a normal Irish family. Her mother, Claire, met her father, Art, who was a muggle, after leaving Hogwarts. They married and had four children, Scarlette being the second. Out of all of her siblings, she was the only one that possessed magical talents. She got along well enough with her other siblings, but she never felt truly comfortable around them, as they all treated her differently for being a witch. Before finding out she was a witch, she was very close to her older brother. He taught her loads of things, like how to ride horses, some of those things being true, and most not, as it tends to happen with little kids, but he became distant when Scarlette's magical powers started to shine through. He affectionately nicknamed her Carty, as he was Arty, his real first name being Art. Her younger brother and sister never really got as close, as they were young when Scarlette's magical ability was revealed, and they adopted their older brother's opinions of her. They would tease her harshly though, making her ashamed of her magical ability. Even Art would join in from time to time, when he was feeling upset with Scarlette. Over the years, she suspected it was mainly because Art was jealous of her, and the attention her mother showed her because of her magic.
When she came to Hogwarts, she was excited and enthralled, and she felt like she finally found a place to belong, like so many others had. Her first year proved to be difficult, as she was more concerned with the people she was meeting than her classwork. She went through the normal ups and downs as every young child does. She made some friends, but was basically still too shy and reserved to make any strong bonds with anyone. As she went through her second year, she found her trouble-making nature after she had charmed her dorm mate's trunk to spit clothes and items across the room when she went to get something purely for fun. In her third year, she had an 'upset' of sorts; the Charms classroom became filled with a terrible blizzard that rendered it incapable to be used for about a week, and she just so happened to find herself in detention for just as long, while a message from the Deputy Headmistress made its way to her parents.
When she returned to her home in Ireland for the school holidays, she felt awkward, as if she were a guest in her own house. Her siblings would boast of their accomplishments, and give Scarlette odd looks when she spoke of her classes at Hogwarts. She mainly confided in her mother about all of her experiences at school, as her mother was a witch and completely understood what it was like. Art would occasionally talk to her about her schooling, and ask questions about what it was like and what she could do.
Scarlette begun to dedicate herself to her classwork after her first year, and found she held natural talent in Potions. She received mostly excellent marks on her OWLs in her fifth year, with her lowest being in Transfiguration, a subject she loathed ever from her first year at Hogwarts. In her sixth year, she is preparing for her NEWTs in the following year, with no clue what she wants to do after she leaves Hogwarts.
