Though he likes to eat healthy too so it helps keep up his shapely appearance. Zhi Huan's hair is normally short though it can be seen as either a medium brown color with right side swept bangs. At times his hair can almost be taken as a light red color when faced with the sun or bright lights. However his eyes are the natural brown color that can brighten up anyone's day.He has thick eyebrows but its just a trait that came from his father's side of the family. However it works for him seeing as it goes well with his eyes. He has a such a sweet smile that no one can really stay mad at him for too long seeing as he always tries to show that he's in a good mood.
As for the young man's clothing is a different story, he loves to try different things when it comes to clothes. However he is normally seen wearing a button up shirt or a normal t-shirt, jeans or khaki's are his types of bottoms that he prefers to wear. When he dresses for a fun time with friends he is one to be the most relaxed where as dawning on a good looking shirt is too much of a hassle for him. Aside from his t-shirts he loves to wear sweaters or coats where ever he goes, just to match with the weather if it sees to be fit with it.
PERSONALITY, TRAITS & QUIRKS
- Zhi Huan is a very carefree guy and loves to help out whenever he can. After all growing up in a struggling family he was never big on material possessions. He'd rather give almost everything he owned away just to help out those in need. His parents always worked for a living trying to make ends meet so it was up to him to work hard in school and take care of his siblings. So whenever anyone needs any help he'll never turn them away regardless of their background story. Though some might think he's too giving and should keep some for himself, but it won't change his mind about his feelings towards being a good person. However when he is working on a drawing most know not to disturb him, seeing as it affects his train of thought. It would take him a while to get back on track or just totally loose his muse until he found something else to draw.
HISTORY & PAST
- Zhi Huan Montri was born in Bloomington, Indiana on December 5th, 1972 to Chinese American Chuti Lena and Thai Pongsak Montri. His birth had no complications however he had been very sick as a child though his parents had no clue as to why he was always in and out of hospitals up until his fifth birthday. But after that he was perfectly fine though his mother did have the tendency to worry about him just a bit too much just because of his health. By the time that he turned six his family packed up their bags and moved to Thailand because of some family problems that were going down. In which both of his parents had to constantly work to support themselves, leaving Zhi to stay with his elderly grandparents.
Seeing as he never had much a grasp on a material possession as many children did at a young age he picked up learning to clean and do chores around the house. Even though his father's parents were pure blooded they had made much of their time for themselves by being the local healers around their city. Zhi's grandmother however took on the role of "mother" when Chuti Lena couldn't be around to raise him. Though he never really resented them for it, however it did make him appreciate the more valuable things in life. By the time he turned nine his time in Thailand came to an end. As his family moved back to the states this time instead of going back to Indiana they planted their feet in Las Vegas, Nevada. Having been in the states and Thailand so much he picked up both languages in which he spoke to his parents in just so that he didn't loose what he learned.
However the summer he turned nine strange occurrences had started to happen to him. At first he was a bit afraid even though he knew about magic from his parents. But still he wasn't entirely too sure that it would ever happen to him. Though after a few days he was thrilled at the fact that he was a wizard, even though it just meant he would have to be careful around his muggle friends. As much as he wanted to tell his friends about it his parents kept a close eye on him. One day while he was in elementary school a girl came up to him and randomly told him that he looked like an Alex person she used to know. Zhi Huan never really understood what that meant even though his parents gave him the English name of Alex to make it easier on his American friends. It wasn't too long till he realized that the girl used to be his next door neighbor when they lived in Bloomington. Though the reunion had been short lived the a month after his birthday the young girl was killed in a car accident. It had hurt him so much that he felt that he was bad luck to any one around him. His parents told him however that it wasn't his fault but it was the little girl's time to go. So for a while he still felt taboo towards people till his year of his eleventh birthday when he received a letter from a magical School called Salem Institute.
At first he was afraid to leave his family behind because of the things that would happen if he were to be around other kids. But his parents encouraged him to go and enjoy his time at his new school even though it meant leaving his family behind for a whole school term. After his first year there he didn't really seem to mind leaving so much he even slowly grew out of his little phase of taboo. When he turned thirteen the boy had picked up a new hobby of drawing, at first it was just to keep him busy in between studies but it became more and more for him. By the time he was 14 years old his mother gave birth to their second child Dao-Ming or in her English name Lilly. He hadn't expected a little sister but it was a nice surprise as it gave him something to be a big brother about. Then three years later his mother gave birth yet again to his second baby sister Mali or Mallory as her friends started to call her.
During his seventh year his father sent him an owl saying that his grandfather's health had been failing him and couldn't work anymore. After a few days after Zhi Huan received the letter his grandfather passed away. In which had come to the decision to help out his family in which after graduating from Salem he traveled back to Thailand to help out his grandmother. However two years later his grandmother passed away from a heart disease, in which that left him all alone at his late grandparents home. He spent most of his time drawing everything he could in sight, kind of when he would read a book he'd try to draw out the scene he pictured in his mind.
After some time more time spent at his grandparents place he took his drawing and moved first he moved to Beijing, China. Trying to get any one to look at his drawing, for artist galleries or even people who would do books. He spent two years in China and picked up the dialect there just enough to get him by. Over the next few months he sent some of his work over to Korea and Japan in hopes that someone would take a look at his works. Eventually someone in Korea noticed his works and wanted to use his illustrations with her stories. In which he would be glad to accept, however he did spend his time attending classes to learn Korean so he could communicate with her. When Zhi Huan turned twenty-two he finally met the person he would be working with and became very grateful because she was a children book author and he could send a copy of the finished works to his family in Las Vegas if he liked. Ever since meeting Tae Hee Park he has enjoyed his job so much that he couldn't have wished for it to turn out any different.
