Concept

Izadora was adopted by the Morgan family when she was three years old. She lived there with no knowledge that her parents had been magical until she performed her first bit of accidental magic. She loves her family and friends very much and would do anything for them.

Izzy loves the arts which is one reason Salem is such a good school for her. She loves painting and drawing and playing various instruments. She has a variety of instruments she can play and loves to do so when she gets time. If she's not playing an instrument then she is somewhere painting or drawing or even dancing. She is also a fan of various sports -preferably football and soccer.

A Look Outside

Izadora stands at a height of five feet one inch and weighs roughly around one hundred five pounds. She's hoping that before she stops growing she'll hit at least five feet six inches or so. She's helped out on her parents ranch from a young age so she's in pretty good shape. Izzy's always been a pale girl and spending so much time in the sun hasn't changed that fact. She burns very easily and hardly ever tans. If she does then it last for a couple of days before disappearing. She has a number of freckles covering her face and shoulders from the time out in the sun.

She has an oval shaped face with full, pink lips that are almost always pulled back into a grin showing slightly crooked teeth. She has a small nose and rounded, gray eyes. Her best feature in her opinion is her hair. It's long and dark red. Sure it doesn't go with everything like black, brown, or blonde hair might, but it makes her different from so many people she runs into on the street. Izzy tends to keep her hair pulled back so that it stays out of her face, but since she's started going to school she's started leaving it down more since she doesn't have to worry about it getting in her way.

Her clothing choice varies according to what activity she's going to be participating in. At home most of the time she's in old jeans and a top that she doesn't mind getting dirty. At school she's either in her uniform, old jeans and a shirt, or in a dress or skirt/blouse combo that she likes. Izzy's not one to really wear jewelry, but she does have a small heart necklace that she always wears that was given to her by her parents when they adopted her.

A Look Inside

The first thing one might notice about Izadora other than her hair is her rather blunt personality. She tends to tell people what's on her mind whether they want to hear it or not. She's honest sometimes to the point of being mean. She can sometimes be rude or mean to someone because she's just speaking her opinion or the truth and not even mean to be rude or mean. This has caused some people to dislike her based purely because they didn't like her telling them the truth that they asked for. Izzy is also one of those people that sets their mind to something and follows it through to the end.

Once she's set her mind to something you will not be able to talk her out of it unless you can successfully prove her wrong or until she's seen it through. Most have learned that once Izzy falls into this point it's best to simply stay out of her way and let her go or to start showing her the evidence that will prove her thoughts wrong.

She's a creative person and loves Salem simply because of all the different artistic classes she can take. Her favorite is painting and dancing as she's been doing both since she was very little. To people who make a point of getting to know her it would come as no surprise to find that Izzy is all about "organized chaos." Her room and living area looks like a pig-sty or like a tornado went through , but ask her where something is and she can direct you straight to it. If you mess with her organized chaos she tends to get angry and has to go back and reorganize it so that she can find things.

Ofer Silverwing, a muggle-born wizard, met Regana Kirkpatrick, a pureblood witch, at the tender age of sixteen. She was only a year old than him at Salem and they had hit it off immediately after meeting. Within two months of meeting each other they were dating and they shared their first time within a month of starting their relationship. Of course they were hormone driven and since neither of them had ever been with another person it had completely slipped their minds to use protection. Nine months later Regana was giving birth to a baby girl and Ofer was breaking it off with her because he couldn't handle a child while he was still in school and his parents were good church-going people and wouldn't approve of him having a child out of wedlock.

Regana's parents weren't very thrilled at their little girl having a baby that wasn't pure-blooded and as soon as the baby was born they were sending it off to the nearest orphanage with nothing more than a blanket and a note with the name Kristen scribbled on it. She spent the first three years of her life going by Kristen Doe. Then days after her third birthday she finally got adopted into a family who had one other child. According to what the girl had been told before she was taken with the people was that the couple had always wanted more children, but after some problems during the birth of their son the woman hadn't been able to have anymore children.

Joining the Morgan family brought a complete name change. No longer was she Kristen Doe left at the orphanage. Now she was Izadora Peyton Morgan. Daughter to Rhoda and Taylor Morgan. Younger sister to Joel Morgan. It took her a bit to adjust to the sudden name change and the sudden change of life. She moved from Gadsden, Alabama to Austin, Texas and started helping out on the farm as soon as she was comfortable with the other members of the family. She was quick to catch onto things around the farm and soon enough she was doing chores just like Joel, her brother who was two years older than her. The little girl loved her new life and spent her time evenly between her new family and working on the ranch with the horses.

When she turned five she started attending a muggle elementary school and started meeting other kids her own age. After school she would spend time out in the stables with the horses and then the rest of the evening would be spent inside with her family doing homework, eating, and just spending time together. Her first act of magic actually came one day when she was out in the stables by herself. She had taken her own little horse, Rory, out for a ride when something startled him and he bucked her off. She hit the ground and wound up under the horse with Rory still stomping about. In fear she thought hard about being in her house away from the horse and before she knew it there was the feeling of being stuffed into a tube and then she was laying on her living room floor.

She was terrified after the incident and for weeks refused to go anywhere near the horse, but her parents told her that if she didn't face her fear and start riding Rory again they'd get rid of him. Worry over losing her horse took higher priority than being scared of another fall and she quickly started riding him again. The incident was forgotten again until another similar one happened. The next few years went by rather quickly and the summer before she was to start her second year of middle school brought a surprise. She'd been eating breakfast with her family when a knock sounded at the door. Joel answered the door to a strange man standing there.

The man explained magic to the muggle family and about how Izadora was a witch and needed to go to Salem to learn how to control and use her new powers. Her parents were a big nervous to be sending their only daughter into a world they knew nothing about and Joel wasn't the least bit pleased because if his little sister went off he couldn't protect her. Still none of them tried to hold her back when Izzy mentioned wanting to go at least for a year. They bought her supplies and sent her on her way on September first. Izzy was nervous about school, but went in and just acted like herself as she had at muggle school. She quickly learned that Salem was just like muggle school only with magic.

She made friends and enemies her first year and went through classes working hard to keep her grades up. Izzy did miss her family and her animals, but at Christmas she was allowed to go home and visit them and ride her horse. Summer came quicker than she would have liked, but she enjoyed being about to go home for a few months to be with her family. Arriving home she was given an owl, Reggie, as a congratulations present for completing her first year. All summer she told her family of her new school and of her friends and spent time riding her horse. Now that second year is coming up she can't wait to see what it holds in store for her.
