Teenage Phase

Plot Idea: So, basically I was thinking that Mikey could be going through a teenage phase where he becomes very angry almost all the time. Also I have thought about making him pretty much emotionless except for his anger. (Kind of like what happened to Harry Potter in the Order of the Phoenix, except Mikey isn't possesed by Voldemort.) This is a very huge change for Mikey who is normally one of the world's happiest guys, and he's usually one of the most emotional guys around, so I thought it would be an interesting aspect to explore.

Plot Location: Probably the upper floors where most student activity seems to take place.

Characters Needed: 1st-4th years are ideal. Nobody older than a 4th year though because Mikey would probably just brush them off in anger.

Plot Length: Right now I was thinking of having it being an on-going problem in his life. Kind of a teenage phase where he is just angry all the time. It might be fun to pair him up with a happy go-lucky student just for laughs.

I wouldn't mind helping you out with this. Maya would try to help him out and not be so angry, which may make him even more angry. She's the type of person to just try to find the brighter sides of things, so it could turn into an interesting debate.... her attempting to make him happier and he trying to get her to understand why he's so angry (even though he may or may not know himself why he's so angry)

Haha lol exactly what I was looking for. I have a thing for torturing my characters. =P Exactly, he is pretty deep in his anger, because he buries his emotions instead of expressing them. Also, he realized that he doesn't have any friends because he spends all of his free time studying. So do you want to start the thread or shall I?

Haha excellent! If you don't mind starting the thread and setting the tone that will work best I think.

I totally understand 'torturing' your characters. It's sad, but I take particular glee in placing my characters into situations that will challenge them... simply because I want to see how they'll / it will come out of it. I find it's the easiest way to make them grow and become more "real".

I have Paula Kendrick who would try to get him not so angry and when that didn't work she'd start getting angry and start yelling and all and possibly crying since she already knows Mikey.

I also have Paula's older brother, Landon, who's a fourth year Gryffindor. He's pretty laid back and easy going and would try to get Mikey to relax and calm down and stuff.
