[Brayden Summers]

"I have no use for family." Brayden replied quietly, shaking his head in disgust at the very thought - he had no cause to long for such silly connections with useless people for whom he had no use!

[Riley Arwyn]

"What about your parents?" Riley asked, becoming more and more shocked. This guy didn't seem to have a soul at all!

[Brayden Summers]

Brayden looked at her condescendingly and replied "What about my parents? They'll be long dead before I go - so it's not like they're going to be able to mourn me." Honestly, some people were so emotional - like this girl - they didn't allow themselves to be even remotely rational.

[Riley Arwyn]

"You're so weird," Riley frowned a little, looking at him. It wasn't the most polite thing to say, but she often blurted things out without thinking.

"What's your name, anyway?"

[Brayden Summers]

"I prefer to think of it as practical." Brayden replied bluntly, looking around the girl rather tensely when she asked him what his name was. "My name is of little importance to you." he muttered darkly.

[Riley Arwyn]

"Fine, be all mysterious," Riley shrugged. "Thought it'd be nice to know the name of the person I'm talking to, but whatever," she said. She was starting to give up on having a civil conversation with this guy, he was a weirdo.

[Brayden Summers]

"Maybe for you, but for me anonymity is preferable." Brayden commented dryly, shoving the girl's question aside and moving on with what he was doing - or rather trying to.

[Riley Arwyn]

"If you say so," Riley shrugged, "are you sick, actually? I can't imagine you'd be here visiting someone you care about," she blurted out, again without realizing that it might be rude.

[Brayden Summers]

"What I am doing here is of no concern to you." Brayden replied in a low and measured tone. Brayden had nothing to say to this girl, and the fact that she was continuing to demand answers of him was infuriating.

[Riley Arwyn]

"You really are weird," Riley frowned at him, "I'm supposed to -" she suddenly stopped, remembering something very important. "Crap! My appointment!" She almost shouted. "Okay I have to run, good luck with whatever mystery thing you're doing here, and have a nice life!" Riley grinned at him, before turning around and running off down the halls.

[Brayden Summers]

"Yeah, I'll do that." Brayden replied, allowing himself a sigh of relief when the girl finally left. Perhaps now he could actually get out of here without needing to worry about people grilling him for information about what he was doing. The less attention he called to himself the better!
