Time for Some R & R

Lugh shrugged and replied "The world, the universe as a whole - you can take your pick really, but if you want an example then think about it this way - how many people can you name that lived a hundred years ago? Not many I'd bet - and even if so, we'd only be talking about some of the most famous people in history - we're all forgotten through time."

[Bree Fallon]

"Yeah that's true, but we'll be dead by then, so who actually cares if we're remembered or not? It's not like we'll be alive to notice it," Bree laughed. She seemed to be taking this stuff a lot less seriously than Lugh was.

[Lugh Barron]

Lugh shrugged and replied "Well at the end of the day I hardly think it matters what things we 'accomplish' seeing as they're not going to outlive us." Lugh was fairly pessimistic, but it wasn't like he was wrong.

[Bree Fallon]

"Aren't you the pessimist, I think you need another beer," Bree signalled to the waiter to get another two drinks. To her, alcohol was a solution to most things.

[Lugh Barron]

"I think I might at that." Lugh replied, equally amused by the idea of drowning all of this out with alcohol - though of course that would not change the way things were. The world was the world, and nothing could change that - but at least the drinking could allow him to forget for a time.
