Within Your Heart

Dante tilted his head sideways and stuck his arm across the doorframe to cut Jolon off when the man attempted to leave "Voices Jolly?" he asked quite curiously, now intently interested in what the other man was saying. This was actually something very interesting, and he quite wanted to know what exactly these 'voices' that he had been talking about were.

When the other blocked him off a fit of rage hit Jolon all over again, but he magically managed to suppress it this time around, but that fit did show up and flicker in his eyes for a moment, it was a significant change. Regardless he stared and nodded, "Yes, voices... It doesn't matter though..." He insisted.

Dante was not going to let this matter drop, and he continued to stand in Jolon's way and asked "What kind of voices?" This was some very interesting information they were skirting with, and he was not going to let the matter drop.

Jolon's jaw line tightened in frustration, he just needed rest. He wanted rest, he wanted nothing more then that and when Dante insisted to know what kind of voices, Jolly wanted to retreat, he did back away a little. "L-Leave me alone.."

Dante was even more confused than ever when Jolon requested that he simply leave the other man be, and he replied quietly "But...why?"

"Because it's not something I want to talk about," Jolon insisted, he really didn't want to make this any harder on himself or Dante. "Just.. Let me go.." He frowned.

Dante frowned and said quietly "But...talking helps things doesn't it?" Dante wished that he knew more about this whole friendship thing. Not because he wanted to be a good friend, but because he did not want to be a bad anything - even something as silly and meaningless as someone's 'friend'.

Jolon swallowed what seemed to be a rock to him, he inhaled deeply, worrying, his gaze twitching and moving from place to place nervously until he looked back at Dante. "I-I don't know, does it..?" He never really had a therapist or anyone to talk about his problems so he didn't know, not really.

"I do not know from experience." Dante replied "But people have told me it does." Dante shrugged and replied "If there is any method you know of, I would be only too happy to help you."

"I don't have any kind of method, I just need rest...." Jolon narrowed his eyes, and furrowed his eyebrows at Dante, as if wanting to leave this area and get rid of his presence. "I can't explain it to you, you don't know what it's like..."

Dante frowned, looking very chastised and upset - which was surprising from someone who generally displayed such a minimal amount of emotion - and stepped aside saying "I'm sorry Jolly...I was only trying to help." clearly his attempts had been met with failure.

Jolon didn't know how to express his gratitude, he looked at Dante with curious eyes as the other stepped aside and the older man nodded softly, before he leaned in and wrapped his arms around Dante to give him a bit of a hug, he didn't know what it was for, but it felt right to show his gratitude.

Dante was rather surprised when Jolon actually hugged him - a quite strange action to be sure - and Dante hesitated for a moment before returning the gesture - patting the other man on the back rather awkwardly as he said "Is it just me or does this feel rather silly?"

When the man spoke, Jolon snapped out of his little dream for a moment and backed away nodding a little. "Ye-Yes, it is strange... I'm .. I'm going to go now." It seemed that not all of his awkward had left him ever since he was a child, and so he began to walk away from Dante, wanting to rest in his room.

"Okay." Dante said, looking quite confused by what had just happened - this was not the sort of thing that he was used to, and he was beginning to wonder why that had even seemed like a good idea in the first place.
