THE SUNDAY SNITCH

After a long hiatus, the Sunday Snitch is BACK! Our last issue was in October of 2010, so we've been itching to get back to it! If this is your first time viewing the Sunday Snitch, we'll give you the scoop - each week we'll feature a number of regular Plot Updates from in game, as well as several OOC features and news. We'll be posting a new one each week with different features and info each time, so be sure to check back every Sunday! We may even have a contest or giveaway from time to time, so you'll want to keep your eyes peeled.

This Week in the Wizarding World...

Pro Quidditch Combine Quidditch Fans, start your brooms! The annual Quidditch Drafting Combine will be upon us before you know it, this year taking place at the Waukaringa Stadium in Australia. Upcoming graduates, interested young witches and wizards, freelance Quidditch stars, and returning players will make their way to the Outback to compete for positions with the best of the best. The drafting combine begins in April, with team results announced towards the end of May. Selected players usually begin practice in June, July, or August depending on their league.

Following Along? Though our dates are ever so slightly off from the book to keep things playing out smoothly, we are roughly on Chapter 25: The Beetle at Bay in Order of the Phoenix. Regular meetings of Dumbledore's Army have been taking place, though we have not yet introduced the Inquisitorial Squad in game. Keep your eyes peeled, for another Educational Decree may be on it's way sooner than you'd think...

Mould Owl Postmaster General Played by the lovely Laura, Vortimer is the guy that makes sure your mail gets to the place it's supposed to and keeps the owls in check, having worked towards having this job for most of his life. His interests include stamps, watching the occasional Quidditch match, and good food. He is unmarried with two pets and works out of the Diagon Alley branch of the Owl Post Service. Hub Network Updates

In case you weren't already familiar, Vault 713 is actually a part of a ring of sites referred to as the Roleplay Hub Network! Other sites in the Network include Second City, a Vintage Chicago RPG, our lady-run role playing blog Charisma Bonus, and - of course - Roleplay Hub itself, a discussion and resource community for role players! We encourage all of our members to have a Roleplay Hub account for convenience - you can even chat with your fellow players in the cbox!

Plot Point Requests

Have you submitted a Plot Point Request lately? We've had some back up on sending these out due to the staff not having the proper instruction on how to fill them (this was Manda's fault, oops!) but hopefully they will begin to be filled soon. Please keep in mind that as we begin filling these requests they are meant to be filled slowly so that there is an element of surprise. If you fill out a request within the next few weeks, expect a little bit of a wait!

That's quite a broad question mate, if you want to see the current list of active teams and what characters are playing which positions then click here for the rosters. If you want to know how to play quidditch well there is no set system here, most people when they create a quidditch (professional) they have threads between other team members, warm up practices etc. That said there have been official board created matches which when they happen have a set of rules that everyone follows, that was for book four.
