5/22 - A Few Important Updates

Hello, Folks!

I just wanted to take a few minutes to give you a few important updates about the site. As many of you may have noticed, we're a bit all over the place lately with trying to keep things organized - there's currently a lot going on behind the scenes! First up at bat is the fact that my boyfriend and I are moving next week (EEK, ALREADY!) and so about 80% of my time has been focused to packing and boring things like that. The other major factor is that we've recently lost a few mods AND we're trying to work on training our new staff members to help run the site, so this takes some time.

So this means a couple of things are in need of changing/at play:

• The final day of term for ALL SCHOOLS will be June 15. Within those two weeks, information will be put up regarding new jobs for graduating characters, etc. We'll make sure to get you all the information you need before term ends.
  
  
• No student characters will be accepted after May 31 until further notice. This isn't a permanent thing, it's just something we do every year to make sure that we don't have anyone joining up up who really wants to be a 6th year, for example, and then they end up having only two days at that age. Student characters will likely reopen in mid-summer after we have rolled over all current students to their new year.
  
  
• Quidditch Trials will resume on June 4. As far as the plot of the board goes, please assume that they took place as normal in mid-may during your roleplaying. The trials will conclude towards the beginning of June and all players should know their teams by the end of June. We apologize for this delay, but it's become necessary with the scheduling issues caused by how busy our staff team has been :)
  
  
• We will have at least two more major plot point announced in the News Room before the end of Book 5. As far as the events of the Department of Mysteries go, it is up to those players involved whether or not they wish to roleplay it out, but we will absolutely be releasing news updates to keep everyone up to date with where we are in the story.
  
  
• Vault Goodies are Coming! We are pleased to announce that in a few weeks we will begin to sell Vault 713 buttons (1inch size) for those who are interested. These will be the first of many to come (provided they actually sell!) and will be posted up with information on how to purchase them and pricing in mid-June.

This is it for now I think - we just wanted to take some time to update you all on the things that have been going on and what not. Sorry for any plot delays we've experienced - we appreciate everyone's patience and hopefully over the next few weeks we'll be able to really work towards getting things ship-shape!
