Looking for More Development

Hey vaultees, I'm needing a bit of help here. Anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated!

I'm threading here with the fantastic Olivia. We ended up establishing the first connection between our characters who are same year, different houses. While I know it's only the first meeting between the two (as in, we're not going to be best friends or anything in one thread) but I would really like to buy some more posts for character development and connection building purposes.

The problem is that I've already established that my character is concerned about getting in trouble for being out of the common room past curfew. Reading over the thread, it feels like the next sensible move is for my character to say her goodbyes and attempt to get back to the common room, however as I've said I'd like a few more rallies between Zara and I. Since the two have literally just bumped into one another, I'm having a hard time thinking how I can reasonably keep my character in the situation any longer while still giving Olivia something to play with.

Any creative ideas on what I could try? Or is it a good time to end this thread and possibly plan another one to build the relationship? Thanks guys!

I read through your thread, and I think one thing you could do is have them see or hear someone else show up nearby, like say, Peeves or Filch or something like that, so that they're afraid of getting caught and instead just hide. Then they'd have a little longer to talk before Angelina goes back to her dorm. Or another idea, since it's Chamber of Secrets era, is maybe she hears some noise that scares her or Zara, and they want to stay together for a while since they're afraid.

Orrrrr another fun thing to do - on one of your posts, you can click the little exclamation point icon in the right corner next to the edit button, and request that a random event be posted in your thread. Then you can get something extra and unexpected added in that you can play off of.
