The Girl Behind the Character
I'm new here, so I figured I'd better come and introduce myself. First off, my name is Haley (exciting, I know :P) and I am a female. I love to read, write, and play video games (I'm going to come clean now and say that I am a huge Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Left 4 Dead fan.) I have no idea what I would like to do with my life professionally, simply because there are so many options that interest me. Everybody I speak to says that my priorities will sort themselves out when I get into college, however. I look forward to that moment.

In terms of music, I enjoy anything with the exception of rap. I am also a huge Disney geek, from the movies to the theme parks. Seriously, do not get me started talking about Disney because once you do it's really difficult to get me to shut up.

I am a fan of The Walking Dead, Charmed, Bones, Friends, and Full House (way outside of my time, but I really do like that show).

Roleplay

I've been roleplaying for something like six or seven years. I started out on a message board that I don't even remember the name of. :P I've dabbled in all kinds of roleplays, with a large portion of those being Harry Potter. I am mostly used to playing OCs, but have had my share of being canon characters, too. Personally, I prefer the freedom of having an OC (as you're the one writing them, nobody has a preconceived idea about who they are, and you can pretty much make them any way you want).

Harry Potter
My cousin is the one responsible for getting me into Harry Potter in the first place. It's funny, because the tables have turned since that time: now I'm the huge HP fan and she's sort of like 'oh well, yeah...I like Harry Potter. It's alright.' I have seen both AVPM and AVPS (and, I have to admit, have most of the music from AVPS on my iPod) and am eagerly awaiting the Threequel. :D In terms of what era I prefer in Harry Potter, I prefer, well, the Potter Era. The only explanation I have for this is because it's the one I'm most familiar with. :P

I like Mulan and The Lion King a lot, too. :D Except The Lion King makes me cry. Not the whole movie, just Mufasa's death scene. Why, Scar, why?! :'(

I think Mulan was the first movie I ever saw in theaters, too. :D Ah, memories.
