30 Day Challenge~! So I thought I'd bring the 30 Day Challenge here. For those who don't know, every day you answer a new question for the Hunger Games. They're your opinions, so feel free to answer as you please. Remember, since spoilers are allowed, you can say whatever (just no badmouthing other members!!!!). The questions will be in bold. If you miss a day, you can make it up when you post again~ So 30 Day Vault Hunger Games Challenge will start now.

Day 1: Your favorite character

My favorite character. Dx Oh man, this is hard. I absolutely adore Peeta like there's no tomorrow, but there's also Finnick. His love for Annie is just soooo sweet. I call it a tie. I can't decide and you can't make me.

Day 2: Your least favorite character

My least favorite character... omg Don't kill me but I don't like Gale. Dx I just wanna smack him upside the back of the head. If you like the girl, you chase her down and don't let her run off with your love rival. Sure, you're stronger physically and can hunt and stuff, but you never seemed to be there for Katniss emotionally. That and you really were only there for her when Peeta wasn't around.

Day 1: Your Favorite Character
Finnick. I loved him from the moment he picked up Mags in Catching Fire and ran. He was just such a great man in the decisions he made, the actions he took, his outlook on life, all of it. I can't help but just love him. Cinna's a close second for similar reasons. The fact that he was the first capital person to really look at Katniss as a person was the sign that I was doing to adore him.

Day 2: Your Least Favorite Character
It's really hard to choose someone to fully dislike in the novels.... but since it's just asking who my least favorite is... I'm going to say President Coin. She used a horrible situation to try and gain personally, and it really didn't matter how or who she destroyed as long as she was able to get what she wanted.

Day 1: Your Favourite Character
Cinna...just because. I don't know, I'm not good at explaining these things, but I liked him and the only thing that really wound me up in the books was when he died. WHY??

Day 2: Your Least Favourite Character
Everyone will hate me for this, but what's life without a little conflict? ;) Erm. It's not that I don't like Peeta as such...I don't really have anything against him, but before I read the books everyone had gone on about how fantastic he was and then I read them and I was like "I don't get it." I literally have no feelings of like or dislike for him whatsoever. There might've been another character I really disliked but I can't think of one right now.

Honestly, I've never been too big of a fan of Peeta myself. He's like a lost puppy following Katniss around everywhere when you think about it. Especially after they both get chosen. I just feel like there should be more to him then there is. I'm also a Gale/Katniss fan... so I'm a bit biased because I feel that the relationship that Gale and Katniss had was more true than the one she had with Peeta.

Day 1: Favourite Character
Without a doubt, Cinna. The sort of person who isn't afraid of defying social boundaries, the sort of friend who's on your side even when the rest of the world isn't, the sort of friend who'd give their life for you. Who wouldn't want that? I was pretty cut up over his death. And then there's Johanna, who almost, kind of, remind me of myself. Thought it'd be worth mentioning.

Day 2: Least Favourite Character
Tough call between President Snow and President Coin, because I loathe them both equally as much. Yeah, I can't choose. They're both selfish, cruel, cold-blooded. They don't have moral principles, not that I can see of. It all boils down to what would benefit themselves and what they want.

Day 3: A Character You Hate That Everyone Loves

._. Okay...So... We have established I don't like Gale in the least. I started out liking him at first but then he just went to the end of the line from there, right with Snow and Coin. I even like Plutarch more than Gale, which is sad. But nah, I just don't really like Gale. >> << Next in line is Prim. I really didn't care for her. Which is sad... I guess.

Day 3: A Character You Hate That Everyone Loves

Aw I should have waited til Day 3 to start talking about Peeta I guess. Although I don't necessarily hate him as much as I hate the love everyone has for him. See above post from me on the subject.

I just really don't see the whole lost puppy thing romantic or cute. And what I mean by lost puppy I mean the fact idolizing of Katniss from when they little to basically DEVOTING his life to her after the first Games. It's just not attractive to me, it's just kind of sad. Peeta has a lot going for him without her, but as soon as he thought there was a possibility she may have feelings for him, even if they were almost forced on her because of the Games, he just went all MUST HAVE KATNISS mode... it really flatted his character which is pretty shameful.

Day 3: A Character You Hate That Everyone Loves
Well, this is a tough call. I never cared much for Gale Hawthorne. I find his methods infuriating and his anger issues annoy the heck out of me sometimes. Then again, I don't care much for Peeta Mellark either - whilst I think he is a good suit for Katniss, the utter devotion he has towards Katniss seems to cut out his own backbone, at least for the first two books. Also, I'm going overboard here now as always but, Katniss Everdeen? I'm not too much of a fan of her either. HAHA I'm sorry. Her dramatic moping about in the third book really irritated me.

I'm actually right there with you about Katniss. My friend looked like she wanted to slap me when I started complaining about Katniss as a heroine. I feel that she is a bit too naive... like beyond believability naive... especially in the last book. I found it frustrating that she is supposed to be this great warrior in a sense, and she is a pillar, but she doesn't have a clue at all. A lot of it stems from the fact that is in every sense a bit self centered. As Peeta and Gale commented... she does what she feels will most likely help her (and essentially Prim) survive. Everything she did was for survival, not for it being right, not for it being just. It was because she wanted herself and her sister to live. It's human nature, and I don't necessarily hate Katniss for it, but it was irritating.

Day 4: A Character You Love That Everyone Hates

._. I like Peeta, end of story. I don't care that people think him whiny and like a puppy. His unconditional love for Katniss is far beyond what most people will find in their lifetime. And even when Katniss would push him away, use him, Peeta would still be there for her. Any real guy wouldn't do that, they'd just be like "Whatever" and leave. To me, it shows what Katniss is to Peeta and what type of guy he is. And when he suffered torture from the Capitol and subjected to Trackerjacker venom, it really brought in this like...unstable Peeta who had to question everything. And like even while subjected to it, although he had a lot of bark, there was no real bite to back it up. His growth is what makes him my favorite, that and how dedicated he is.

Day 4: A Character You Love That Everyone Hates
Cato. He's an interesting character, at least I think he is. He's bloodthirsty and brutal, but his complex with Clove was intriguing because of all its possibilities. Both in the movie and in the book, he was one of the most human of the careers in my opinion. I'm also an avid fan of Effie Trinket, although many may find her shallow. Sure, she is, but I think she's endearing in her own way, and certainly isn't a bad person. And I'm not sure if anyone hates Johanna Mason, but I love her a lot. Like, a lot. x]

Day 4: A Character You Love That Everyone Hates
I find this hard because there weren't really any characters I loved or hated. I always get into the story more than the characters. And I don't know who people seem to hate except Peeta and Gale, and although I don't love either of them I'm going to go with Gale. To be honest I never had any particular liking for him until I realised how much so many people hated him, then it made me want to like him (that's how I am :P). If we ignore the whole Prim thing, I basically think people need to give him a break. I would've been a lot more insufferable in his situation.

Day 4: A Character You Love That Everyone Hates

Day 1: Favourite Character
Katniss. Period. End of. I just love how... ridiculous some of her thoughts seem. In certain moments, she'll think something, and I'll just be sitting there like "lmao really? You're thinking about that right now?" Or "Seriously? Did you just say that?" I don't know. She's got an amazing depth to her, and I became attached to her as I read the series from her perspective.

Day 2: Least Favourite Character
Definitely Snow. I mean, I hate Coin as well, but I've hated Snow since day one. He's just such an asshole, toying with Katniss the way he does. Grr, it angers me.

Day 3: A Character You Hate That Everyone Loves
Ummm... err... eh... I hate Gale? I hate how... possessive he is, and how angry he gets over certain things. IDK, he's just always rubbed me the wrong way.

Day 4: A Character You Love That Everyone Hates
I'm actually surprised that a lot of people don't like Katniss... I don't understand how that could be so. Yeah, she's not perfect, but she's aware of it and she accepts it. But she's the heroine of the story. So what if she mopes around for a bit? She has right to, crap is hitting the fan and there's about nothing she feels that she can do about it for a while. I loved reading her inner struggles throughout the entire series. She's just so flawed and interesting.

Day 5: Your Favorite Fight/Battle Scene

Okay. I don't know if this counts, but... I love the end of the 74th Hunger Games. When Katniss and Peeta are gunna face Cato and they go to the lake and then Cato comes running by and then the mutts appear and chase them. Between the Mutts and the deal with Cato, it became my favorite part.

Day 6: A Scene That Made You Cry

DDDDx When Katniss yelled at Buttercup and had to tell the cat that Prim was dead. I cried more then than at any other part.

How did i not find this thread sooner?! Gawd, i feel awful now! But let me start by saying that words cannot not even begin to describe how much i love everything to do with the Hunger Games. Seriously.

Day One: Favourite Character
Hmm. I'd probably have to say Peeta, just because i am totally and irrationally in love with him. Haha! But yeah, he was just the perfect guy throughout every page of the book. Always so kind, caring, courteous and he even continue to love Katniss through it all - which i didn't get at all quite frankly. If not Peeta, then Caesar Flickerman. I mean, WOW. I was so glad that we got to see so much of him in the film, as that has got to be the best match i have ever seen for a character. Stanley Tucci totally enhanced Caesar for me and he was just brilliant. Period. Or maybe even Effie Trinket.

Day Two: Least Favourite Character

Katniss when she kept breaking Peeta's heart!
Hmm, i wonder. Possibly Johanna Mason or Dellie Cartwright. I know, can't get any more minor, right? I know that Johanna was meant to be the strong, independent fierce character, but she was just so... yuh. But i'll blame that on the fact that we hardly got told anything about her history. Dellie Cartwright on the other hand is the complete opposite of Johanna and i still didn't like her! I mean, totally grateful that she helped Peeta and whatnot, but nobody should be that cheery when friends, family and homes are destroyed. It just seems too heartless to me.

Day 3: A Character You Hate That Everyone Loves
Gale. He made me want to throw my lamp at my book. And i've never really had that before. I think it was because he was being portrayed as a 'good guy' when he was really the bad guy all along. I know he and Katniss loved each other to some extent, but i think he was just testosterone filled and wanted Katniss just because somebody else did. Although that doesn't really explain what he was about to say to her in the book. Too bad Gale, you missed your chance.

Day Four: A Character You Love That Everyone Hates
I think i'll also have to agree and say Cato? Again, i have a valid reason: Alexander Ludwig. Yum! But i kinda loved him because he knew he was going to die and kinda accepted it, otherwise he would have just killed Peeta there and then. I never really thought it was because he 'could still do this' as he was smarter than people gave him credit for and most likely knew he wouldn't make it past Katniss. So in a way, he kinda saved Peeta. Weird, right?

Day 5: Your Favorite Fight/Battle Scene
This wasn't really described all that much, but the 50th Hunger Games, or second Quarter Quell, at the end when it was just Haymitch and the other chick left, and he outsmarted the Capitol by using their own force field as a weapon. It was smart, strategic and he was literally cut to pieces. Sigh. Shame that he turned to a drunk, but i know; he had his reasons.

Day 6: A Scene That Made You Cry
Em, the whole thing? Yeah, first time i saw it at the cinema i was crying as soon as the first scene came up, and was in continuous tears from after that. But seeing the reaping scene for the first time, the end of the first film when they went back to twelve, when Prim died at the end, when i realised Cinna was dead and when i reached the end of the third book and realised we would never get to read Katniss and Peeta growing back together. GRR! Although i'm fixing that now, by attempting to write a decent fanfic.

I'm most like Peeta. Regardless of what Pottermore thinks, I'm really a loyal Hufflepuff and tend to love people unconditionally. ^^ I literally got put through heck by an ex and I stuck with her for six months of a nightmarish world.

Day 9: Your Favorite Quote

x.x It's a three way tie. "Come to finish me off, sweetheart?", "Even now you're still trying to protect me. Real or not real?" "Real, because that's what we do. We protect each other.", and the very end "You love me. Real or not real." "Real."

Day 10: Peeta or Gale

Peeta, if I hadn't made this clear from the get go. Haha.

Day 11: Something You Hate About The Series

x.x How crammed the taking over the Capitol felt. I feel like it should have been longer to explain a lot more of what happened. Like... It could have been it's own book.

Day 12: A Character You Wish Hadn't Died

._. Finnick. I cried when he died. I was fine with the other deaths, but his death upset me. Oh, and Prim's. I mean... I wasn't as attached to her as I was Finnick, but I still was kinda sad she died since she was the last person I expected to die.

Just about anything with Effie Trinket, especially in the first book. She's just so cute and innocent! Thinking the tributes enjoy being prepped up for slaughter.

Umm... I'd say either Katniss or Haymitch, and not really by choice either. I'd rather be a Peeta. I might even be a bit like Gale, the horror! But Katniss and Haymitch because i'm just so darn stubborn, don't really know how to love anything and i'm pretty self-sacrificing. Also slightly psychotic. Did i mention that?

Day 9: Your Favorite Quote
"You're a painter. You're a baker. You like to sleep with the windows open. You never take sugar in your tea. And you always double-knot your shoelaces." - I love this quote because at the time when i was reading the book, it sounded as though Peeta was never going to 'come back' and it showed that Katniss had actually been aware of Peeta and that she did actually love him.
"That is MAHOGANY!" Lawl, Effie... That part did make me chuckle and her expression is just so funny given it was meant to be an intense moment between Katniss and Haymitch.

Day 11: Something You Hate About The Series
Like i've mentioned before, we never really got to find out about how Peeta and Katniss got back together. Considering they ended up married with two kids, i kinda thought that would be a big bit in the end. The whole last half of 'Mockingjay' did feel pretty cramped though. But to leave out the romance was just heartless...

Day 12: A Character You Wish Hadn't Died
Completely agree with Dustin when i say Finnick! I really did cry at that part. It was so sudden and unexpected that i didn't know what to think. And poor Annie! Also Cato, but that's because Alexander Ludwig won't be in the next films now... Although i kinda pictured Finnick to look like the sexy Ludwig man, weird right?

*__* I forgot about that quote. I saw this amazing picture a facebook likepage made for this quote. But it has about Peeta's favorite color being orange like the orange in a sunset. It's so effing adorable.
