Fellow '93 alumni, Riordan and Cara at your service. Riordan and Rachelle naturally would've known each other, because Road dated Madeline back in the day. He took to her death hard, and whilst Rachelle might've been there for him, I think over the years he may have distanced himself from his (and her) old friends because it's just simply much too painful. He now lives in Diagon Alley though, so there could be chance for them running into each other. Meanwhile, Cara lives in Westminster, London, in a magical apartment (well, you would know considering she and Arizona are neighbours).
