Appearance

Over-all: Bryce stands somewhere in the neighborhood of five feet nine inches and weighs about the average if not a little over the average weight of someone his age. All of the weight is pure muscle from working out pretty much all his life and playing Quidditch since he was old enough to fly a broom. Considering how much time Bryce spends outside on his broom and in the sun it comes as a bit of a surprise that the man is rather pale. It is no surprise that he tends to burn rather easily in the sun and is often walking around with red arms or a red neck, though sometimes the sunburn fades and he's left with a very light tan.

He has a slightly rectangular face with a strong jaw, normal sized nose, and thin pink lips. Bryce's eyes are rounded and dark gray that sometimes appears to be green or blue in the right light, but according to those few he's asked they are gray. His eyes are set under slightly bushy, dark brown eyebrows. Over the years Bryce has learnt that it is better to keep his dark hair cut short if he's going to play Quidditch. Mostly since having long hair when trying to play in the rain or with a strong wind is a pain. The hair keeps getting in your eyes and you have to stop and shove it back and it's just easier to keep it cut short and not have to worry about any of that.

When not practicing or playing Bryce tends to have a rather casual style. He likes wearing t-shirts and jeans or some kind of button down shirt opened over an undershirt.

Over-all: When one looks at Bryce and the way he acts the first word that might come to mind would be jock. The man has a number of similarities to those more athletically inclined people that you might have went to school with. From a distance he has the same 'I am better than you' attitude and he has the gang of people following him around hanging on his every word. This is only one side of him though and it is the only side that most of the world sees. Once someone really takes the time to get to know Bryce they learn that there is more to him than just that jock shown side.

Bryce is a nice, friendly man who enjoys hanging out with friends and family just as much as the next person. He
really doesn't care what other people think of him and has his own way of doing things that others might not understand. He loves meeting new people when he travels and tries to keep in touch with all of the friends he makes in other countries.

Once Bryce sets his mind to something or begins something he will see it through to the end. He might not like where his project or thought started out, but he refuses to just drop it when it goes in a different direction.

Bryce was born to Ossian & Stacey Nevitt at 9:05 a.m. on March 4, 1974. He was the first son to be born to the couple, following three girls: Adara (six years old), Derva (four years old), and Teresa (three years older). Being outnumbered by girls probably should have rubbed off some of their gossiping traits or something, but it didn't. When he was only a year old his brother, Colby, came into the world and Bryce was no longer the only boy. Growing up in a house with four siblings made things rather interesting when it came to something happening. Whether it was the accidental magic or just general chaos.

Things stayed about the same for a good number of years with the exception of his younger sister, Margaret, being born. It was in November of 1980 that things got just a bit more interesting with the birth of his two youngest siblings, Nora & Tyler. Bryce was glad to have another little brother to hang out with and teach things to because in his mind it was the three boys trying to hold off an invasion of girls. Sadly, the only relative he had who didn't think Tyler should be treated like some spoiled thing was Colby.

Bryce tried his hardest to keep his youngest brother from turning into a little sissy girl because of all the attention and babying that was showered on the boy, but the boy should have realized it was a lost cause. Of course their parents didn't like their oldest son trying to toughen up their 'wittle TJ' and so he was told to back off, which the boy did with reluctance. After the incident with their sisters trying to stuff the boy into a dress though Bryce had had enough. Something had to be done about how they were turning his little brother into a girl!

He tried tossing him into dangerous situations only to have those lead to Tyler running home to their mother and getting the boys in trouble. He slowly grew tired of trying to keep his brother from turning into another sister and often teased him about it by calling him "Taylor Julianne" and without noticing his attitude towards the boy changed. He supposed though that he should just be glad that Tyler could still get out there and mess around just like he and Colby did.

It seemed to take forever for his turn in school to arrive and not long after he turned eleven the boy recieved the letter he had been hoping to recieve his Hogwarts acceptance letter. School was just like what his sisters had told him, big and cool! Okay so they had described it a little better, but that was the only things that Bryce could really think about when he saw the castle for the first time. It didn't take long after the hat touched his head for him to be placed in Gryffindor where he spent the next seven years working towards his dream career.

Bryce made a number of friends during the school year and joined the Gryffindor Quidditch team in his fourth year as a beater and was there for the rest of his school career. There was nothing really interesting or out of the ordinary to happen at school and once he graduated he immediately went looking for any team that would take him. He joined the Kenmare Kestrels as a reserve beater for the '92/'93 Quidditch season and then moved up to starting beater, which is where he's stayed since. For the '96/'97 season though Bryce has been appointed captain and it has inflated his ego a little (not enough to really be able to tell) but it has also put him to worrying about doing a good job and being able to keep the position as beater.
