An office lined with pink curtains, kitten plates, pictures of Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge, is the best office for Dolores Umbridge, High Inquisitor for Hogwarts. Normally her door is shut for most students, though if they're a Slytherin or anyone on her good side, they're free to knock on the door and ask for entrance.

A pink little woman will be waiting for anyone who wishes to enter.

It was an odd occurrence when Diana Knightley found herself outside a professor's office, except for the Headmaster's, yet she never thought that she would come to stand outside Umbridge's office. Simply, she was there to inquire about jobs in the Ministry after Hogwarts. Diana was a half-blood and very smart, and she knew what her interests were. Being the High Inquisitor, Diana had hoped that Umbridge could help her get a job in the Ministry like her father.

Gathering her courage and every ounce of humility that she could muster, Diana knocked on the door of the Defence Against the Dark Arts office and took a slight breath. "Professor Umbridge, may I have a word with you?" she asked, trying not to sound too nervous.

Dolores sat, fumbling around with parchments over the professor reviews she had only just began to finish, one last teacher was up for review before Dolores announced her decisions on them all. She began stamping each of them with a Ministry stamp before tapping them with her stubby wand, placing a few enchantments on them before sending them to her file cabinet of sorts.

The woman heard a knock on her door and paused, looking at the door, no one visited her here, they all hated her. What could anyone possibly want except to further prove how dangerous and idiotic Hogwarts is in its present state. She flicked her wand at the door as it swung open revealing a Ravenclaw student, Dolores blinked at the girl's question and nodded her head "Yes, come, sit down."

Placing a hand on her tea kettle, Dolores asked "Would you like a spot of tea?" she swished her wand as two pink cups, laced in white formed on her desk as if formed by the air itself. The woman seemed to be in a good mood for an odd reason, perhaps the girl met Dolores' good side.

Diana smiled slightly and entered the office, looking around the room in wonder. The amount of pink was severely ostentatious, but she did like the colour in small amounts. The kittens, however, were the best aspect of the room. She frowned mentally when she realised that there was a lack of Devon Rex kittens. She sat down in one of the chairs that were near the desk and politely crossed her ankles, breathing in the scent of the tea.

"Tea would be lovely," she said, having wanted some tea since the week prior.

Though she would not let it show, her curiosity was most definitely piqued. She did not like how Umbridge taught, or how she acted around the halls, but the woman in front of her was not the same one that she had encountered in passing. The seventh year inwardly shrugged, knowing that she had an uncanny knack for finding a teacher's good side. Well, Snape was the exception to that.

Making sure his uniform was in good order and that he was settled, the slender Slytherin stood outside the office of Professor Umbridge preparing to give her information regarding the students he had seen earlier. He gave the other two a perfect chance to avoid this, but they didn't take it and now they would suffer the consequences. Raising his pale right hand up to her door, the male's lone icy blue left eye looked at the door while his other hid behind a white eyepatch. After he rapped on the door twice with his hand he lowered it to his side before speaking.

"Professor Umbridge? Are you there? I was hoping I might be able to have a word with you if it's not too much of an inconvenience. There is something that I think requires your attention."

Dolores nodded her head and began pouring the girl a cup of tea while pushing the jeweled sugar dish toward her in case she needed it. The woman took a few scoops for herself before stirring it in with a smile, tea really made the woman feel good, despite her overwhelming attitude of hate the students brought upon her, she really hated children. Dolores peered up at the girl and asked "What is it you needed?" before two knocks on the door broke her eye contact.

'What is it with students disrupting me today?' she thought before waving her stubby wand at the door, it opened to reveal a Slytherin boy with an eyepatch. Dolores looked at him oddly "Is there a problem?" she asked, wondering why he would bother her at this time of the day.

Smiling slightly, Diana decided that it was time to play teacher's pet once again. "I had actually come to ask you about jobs in the Ministry, Professor. I graduate this year, and I find that I may need employment," she explained with a slightly calm voice. It was true, every word of it. She did want to find a job at the Ministry, and felt that Umbridge would provide a good channel.

Her head snapped around to the door, the smile fading as she saw a Slytherin standing there. She willed the smile to come to her face again, as this one did not seem all bad. Actually, the eye patch made him seem rather mysterious and it greatly intrigued Diana.

Making a slight bow to the professor and the agent of the ministry, Jasper took a few steps forward entering her office. He immediately noticed a Ravenclaw girl with Professor Umbridge already. He wondered who she was. She seemed old enough to be in his year, but based on appearance that could have very easily have been an inaccurate assessment. His icy blue eye snapped back to the pink professor before he addressed her again.

"I hate to interrupt your busy schedule Professor Umbridge, especially with another student, but I have information for you regarding the recent vandalism of one of you Educational Decrees."

Jasper kept a relatively solemn expression on his face, as if he found it abhorrent that students would do that, but his thoughts didn't reflect his expression at all. He knew exactly who vandalized the decree, and he was prepared to condemn them to Umbridge's wrath.

Dolores inclined her head toward Diana slightly, smiling before peering at Jasper with wide, sadistic eyes while he spoke. "Really? Well get on with it, who did it?" she had been waiting for a piece of information that helped her solve who had vandalized the Educational Decree. She had been noticing many incidents such as the Educational Decree vandalism, and figured she'd better take action sooner than later.

Dolores stood from her desk, looking crazily at the boy.

Remaining in place and not seating himself unless directed otherwise to do so by Professor Umbridge, Jasper remained completely reactive, not doing anything until he was instructed to do so by the woman clad in enough pink to make Jasper thankful he could only see out of one of his eyes.

"There were actually two students. A younger Ravenclaw whose name I don't know. I suppose he's a third or fourth year. However the second was the Gryffindor student Scarlette Cooper, in my year. She seemed to be orchestrating the entire effort, so she will know the name of the younger Ravenclaw student. I wish I could have done something to prevent it or at least gotten both students' names. Unfortunately they were just finishing their desecration to the decree just as I caught them. I knew I couldn't possibly challenge them both in a duel and win. I'm sorry I couldn't have done more."

Hanging his head to the floor in shame, the male looked at the pink carpet with a frown on his face. Of course internally he was jovial that Cooper would be getting her just desserts.

What the Slytherin had said jarred something within her. It was the mention of the younger Ravenclaw, and a look of recognition crossed her face. She glanced at Umbridge, then back to Jasper and cleared her throat. "I know the Ravenclaw. I think his name is Xayvion. A little too cocky for a Ravenclaw, actually. We're reserved, we're bookworms; we don't cause much trouble," she explained, not happy that one little student would mar the name of the Ravenclaw house in such a manner.

She was not sure if what she said was a good idea, but smearing the name of Rowena Ravenclaw was never acceptable. Under normal circumstances, she would not have given out any names. She wanted to work for the Ministry, she wanted to do that more than anything. There was a slight smile on her face as she looked at Umbridge, a certain twinkle in her eye.
