Full Name: Juliana Harper
Age: 14
Magical Status:Witch
School: Hogwarts
Country of Citizenship: England
Appearance:
Juliana is fairly average in size and appearance, at fourteen she’s just over five feet two inches, with dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. Her face is heart shaped, and she normally wears a slightly distracted look, as though she’s thinking about things far away. She’s very sporty, and can normally be found with mud and muck on all her clothes. Still, she’s very stylish, not a every hair in place stylish, but she enjoys dresses and shopping. Something people find a bit unsettling about her is that when (if) they are able to get her attention, she will usually fixate all her attention and energy on them and what they’re saying, which can be a bit unnerving.
Magical Ability
Mother's Magical Status:Wizard
Father's Magical Status: Muggle
Strongest Class: Herbology
Weakest Class: deciphering runes.

Personality:
Juliana has a couple of sides to her. With people she can be very outgoing, laughing and having a grand old time. Alone and in school though, she’s very quiet and withdrawn. Many teachers believe her silence is either a sign that she’s thoughtful, or that she’s bored and doesn’t care about school. In truth, it’s a combination of the two, as Juliana often spends her time wishing she was outside on the quidditch pitch, rather than in a stuffy classroom. Although her marks aren’t particularly good, she is quite smart, although in a way that can’t be graded by tests and evaluations. Jules has streets smarts, and never hesitates to use them. Even at fourteen she knows how harsh the world can be, and is determined to be just as harsh back.
Juliana is very judgmental and suspicious. When she first meets someone she instantly sums them up, and is almost always right in her assessments. If you break through her shell though, she’ll prove to be a fairly loyal friend, although it must be said that she is willing to throw friendship away if she hints at the slightest betrayal.
She isn’t interested in being catty, but she can throw around insults with the best of them, and often does if she feels it necessary.
The best way to think of Jules is as a chameleon. She does what is necessary to survive, blends where she needs to blend, fights where she needs to fight, and doesn’t particularly care what anyone thinks of her.
If one is ever able to peel back her shell, they’ll find an exhausted, sad girl who is tired of constantly defending herself.
Strengths: Determined, cautious
Weaknesses: short temper, impulsive
Personal History:
Juliana Harper was born on May 19th in the year 1981. Juliana’s father, James Harper and her mother Whitney Carter had a one-night stand. Whitney was struggling for money and she already had two children to raise, which is why she passed Juliana onto her father, knowing James was pretty rich. Juliana has never really felt any deep desire to find out anything else about her mother, considering how poisonous her relationship with her dad was.
Jules grew up a fairly lonely kid. She spent most of her time alone, except when her older sister, Ophelia (who she idolised) came home for the summer holidays.
When Juliana was four and Ophelia was sixteen Ophelia’s mother came to claim her daughter. Juliana, being only four years old, only understood the fact that someone wanted to take her sister away, and threw a fit. Ophelia explained later that the muggle police had decided that their father wasn’t fit to keep them, and took them away before they could be harmed.
After that Jules spent a year in an orphanage, where she had to stay because Ophelia was off at school. She doesn’t remember much about it, but she does remember that the orphanage was where she performed her first piece of magic. She managed to turn one of the other boys flame red hair bright purple after he’d been teasing her about how she couldn’t count properly.
Fortunately Juliana only had to spend one year in the orphanage, as Ophelia came back and took away. They found a flat in London and attempted to settle down. Fairly soon after Ophelia returned from school Juliana was introduced to Ophelia’s friend/acquaintance, Dimitri. Dimitri moved in with the two sisters, and Ophelia went off to look for a job. Juliana’s love and admiration for her sister increased ten fold in this time, as the sisters spent a great deal of time together.
That period of time was the best in Jules life. She loved spending time with Dimitri, who was funny and sweet, and always could come up with a way to put a smile on the young girls face.
One of her best memories is her tenth birthday with Ophelia and Dimitri. The two adults had wanted to take the young girl to an amusement park, and then a movie, but somehow Ophelia came home late, and then there simply wasn’t much motivation to go out So the three went out for a walk, Ophelia clinging to Dimitri’s hand as they did so. Finally they came to the Thames, were a circus was performing. They had all kinds of animals big and small, and the young Juliana was delighted and entranced by the tricks and feats performed by everyone at the circus, especially the trapeze artist. The girl fell asleep in Demitri’s arms and had to be carried back to the house, but she always remembered that as her best birthday.
Of course when she was eleven she received the letter she’d been waiting for with some trepidation. Jules wasn’t entirely sure how she felt about going and learning magic, especially since she’d seen it used to hurt and kill when she was younger. Still, she did go, and her first year wasn’t quite as terrible as she’d feared.
She enjoyed her classes, although she didn’t fall head over heels in love with any of them. She wanted to give Ophelia a reason to be proud of her, so she worked fairly hard, but she wasn’t naturally good at her studies, preferring to be in the greenhouses, or outside on the grounds, than stuck inside studying. She adored plants, more than she thought possible, and felt more free and alive than anywhere but the Quidditch pitch when she had her hands in dirt and was wrestling with an unruly plant.
When she was about to go into her third year everything changed. She was home for the winter holidays, celebrating with Dimitri and Ophelia, when men broke into the house. Jules had been terrified; she’d never felt that helpless in her life. She wasn’t able to do anything but quiver behind her older sister.
In her third year she tried out for her house quidditch team, making the position of chaser. She practices every chance she gets, as it is one of the only times she feels any sort of freedom. She also feels more in control in the sky, rather than with her feet on the ground.
