Character Story
Personality: Bobbie enjoys to stir up things. In a moment, she's in the middle of an argument, even if she isn't involved to begin with. It's safe to say she likes to be the center of attention, although at times staying in the shadows is even in her mind the best solution, especially when a light bulb suddenly flashes up and bestows her with a great way how to annoy the hell out of someone she currently holds a grudge against. Then she spends a lot of time concocting a plan and trimming said plan to perfection.
On the other hand, it's not hard to become friends with her - if you A) have a bag of dried tomatoes to offer her or B) share her opinion on something she sees as an important thing to acknowledge. Granted, she's no SPEW follower, and finds the entire idea more than just a little ridiculous. Instead she likes to drop by the kitchens after dinner to complain about the poor quality of the dinner since she won't touch meat and - while she's at it - pockets a huge supply of tomatoes in various shapes and forms to nibble on as a snack while spending some time reading or doing homework.
In fact, the only other thing she obsesses about as much as tomatoes are books. The girl has a special mahogany trunk in her dorm - magically enhanced space - which holds nothing but books. She certainly can't stand anyone sniffing about in it, but sure doesn't mind to borrow you a copy if you ask her nicely. While this trunk is one of her top notch most valuable possessions (read as: she'll kill you if you touch it), the only other thing really important to her is a black notebook. What it contains? Hey, that's a secret she won't reveal. None of your business, you see.
Strengths: Independent & Open-Minded
Weaknesses: Impulsive & Unforgiving
Personal History:
You might think Bobbie being a half blood would make things a lot easier for her, but in fact, it doesn't. Half the time she thinks about what kind of weird show she got landed in (muggle blood) while the other half wonders how anyone could ever survive without doing magic. Bobbie's mother died giving birth to her, which left her in the care of her dad - the muggle part of the family - and only living relative she has ever seen. Rumor has it, her mother's parents are still alive somewhere, but for a long time Bobbie adjusted to the fact that she was inevitably stuck with her dad when she wasn't at school or over at some friends from school. The letter from Hogwarts came more or less as a surprise, since muggle dad never did magic (how so?) and somehow had managed to keep from her the thing about her mother whom she never got to know that made her even more of an idol. Mom could do magic? You've got to be kidding me.
Her being magical as well, however, was the one thing that explained all of the odd things that kept happening to her since around her fifth birthday. For whatever the hell reason her dad had kept on a happy family facade, telling her a lot of odd things about who she was just a special girl with fast feet or some rubbish like that which allowed her to, say, run so fast she was able to catch up with her bus in first grade while the other kids (late just like her) were just too slow to do so. Needless to say, Bobbie was annoyed with her dad when the letter came. In fact, the girl blew up with all the frustration an eleven year old half-orphan was able to pile up over the years. The night before she left for Hogwarts the first time, the thing about her grandparents slipped the man, but since he either refused to tell her where to find them, or just had no idea about their whereabouts, Bobbie took off without so much as looking at the man again until she returned back home the following summer.
Holidays were pretty much the same all the time: Bobbie came home, her dad who obviously had a reason not to tell her about this whole wizarding stuff, tried to make up for it but due to not telling her where she could find her strange grandparents, Bobbie got annoyed, they would fight, fight and probably fight some more. Then she just wouldn't talk to him anymore until she left for Hogwarts and that was that.
Since she left Hogwarts, she's looking for a job so she can have her own place.
