Heisann folkens! (Translation: Hey guys!)

I'm Vildea, or Vilde if you like, and well, I'm new here :) I'm 21 years old and live in Norway (yep, that was Norwegian at the beginning there). Currently I'm studying Cultural History and fretting over the future (a ton of fun, let me tell you! There's something about fretting that's just so... good for the skin, you know?) and jobs and the like.

When I'm not doing that I roleplay. I began some 10 years ago and have been doing it on and off ever since. In fact, Catherine who I'm currently playing is the older sister of the first character I started with, Leonore Stockwood, who was a student at Durmstrang, much like her sister was (and though I'm not playing her Leo's technically going to Durmstrang too at the moment). So yeah, I'm, in a way, back to where I started :) Though with a much better grasp of grammar and English than I had back then :P

I found this place through RPG-D where I'm also Vildea. In fact I've been sniffing around this place for well over a year, I've just not had... Hm, the proper character in mind to join with I guess?

I'm a bit of a geek, a huge rambler and have a bad habit of getting my sleeping pattern out of whack by doing all-nighters (guess what I did tonight?).

Most people on the net end up calling me Vil at some point or another, so go right ahead and do that, or Vilde or Vildea if you prefer, it's all good with me :)

Oh, and I'm also a huge Lily/James fan and a loyal reader of Commentarius and The Life And Times (fanfiction, both of them) :) (I'm also a bit of a smiley addict as well!)

I'm glad you finally decided to join, after sniffing around for a year hehe. Catherine looks like an awesome character, and I hope we'll cross paths in the game sometime. I have a large amount of characters myself, it becomes quite an addiction. :P

But anyway, I hope you have loads of fun here! And don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any, everyone is really friendly. XD

Thank you! :) Yeah I spent a bit of time checking it out, but usually when I spend a lot of time looking at a place it generally means I'm much more likely to stay and refuse to move *stubborn*

As for characters, yeah, I actually had 3 different ones to choose from when I decided to join. One which was Cathy's younger sisters, at some point they might make it here too, but at the moment I'm content with Cathy :)

I think I will! I'm having far too much fun reading the gossip in the news section anyhow XD

Hey Robert! I've never been to Latvia, but I might actually be going this summer as me and my dad are going on a roadtrip through Europe this summer and we're heading in that direction, but I'm not 100% of just where we'll be going yet :P

Well if you do pass by Latvia, go through Jurmala and Riga. Those are by far the best in my opinion, especially old Riga. 800 years and counting! :)

I just talked with my dad actually and it looks like we're definitely checking out Riga at least, so that'll be a lot fun :) And knowing us, we'll definitely be dropping by old Riga, there's yet to be a city I've visited with an "old" section that I've not been to, so that's a must :)

Hey Damian :) For what it's worth I don't know that much about Québec either. I mean, I know where it is and all, but I'm not well versed in it XD Norway is somewhat similar to Sweden, though we have more mountains, fjords and somewhat temperamental weather near the coastline :P

I'm tempted to say that Québec is the awesomest place on Earth, but these past few weeks I'm really 50-50 about it. XD

I have a cousin who studied in Denmark for a while, and he visited some fjords in Norway. The photos were breathtaking. We have cool landscapes too, but only one fjord, I think. I think we have about the same temperatures as Scandinavia, though the past few years our winters have been less impressive than in the past. We used to get -30 in the winter, and 30 in summer. XD

If you ever want to RP, I have... ugh, how many do I even have. 26 or 27 characters, including Lola Novak, who is a Chaser for Braga as well, although she'll be sent into the drafting. Maybe they could RP if you'd like.

Also, Lori, does your av come from A Clockwork Orange? *shudders*

Haha :P It doesn't really help that I have an assignment to deliver this week and am supposed to be reading up a bit on my curriculum so I'm more caught up on things :P Still, it works a bit better having someplace to turn to for five-ten minutes when I take a break, than end up taking several hours because I got too caught up watching TV :P

I've got a sneaking suspicion that I'll end up with more characters, Cathy's Witch Weekly loving younger sister is blabbing away and for some reason my head is filled with Quidditch players as well. I'm not making any for a bit though, I'd rather get Cathy into play first (and y'know, finish that assignment!) :)

Heh, I have the same on and off again relationship with Trondheim, which isn't where I live, but I've spent a lot of time there because I have family there, but I have an on again, off again relationship with the place :P

That's one of the reasons why I like Canada, it's similar in some ways, yet very obviously not in others (that and I happen to prefer to cold, so that factors in as well :P). Our winters are... Well, further north you can get a LOT of snow, and you do get quite a bit here in Oslo too, but we're further south so it doesn't always get very high. Still, it gets higher the further north you get :P

Wowsers, 27-ish characters? That's quite a bit. But yeah, I saw Lola Novak on the rooster for Braga actually. Hm, she's doing the draft? That's interesting :) Yeah, roleplaying the two of them together could get quite interesting, especially if Lola is quitting the team, which might make Cathy a wee bit upset (professionally she'd get it, as a Braga team-member she'd be upset, wonderfully confusing emotions).

Well, Lola's been one of my chars for I think a year and a half, and I've never really done anything awesome with her, since, well, I got the muse for her three years ago, and it took me so much time to make her that eventually interest died out, sadly. But I'd be more than happy to bring her into play and thread with you! I'm sure it would be super awesome. :D

Aw, poor girl! Yes, I think you should contemplate dusting her off and letting her have a go (er, not the violent kind of go) at Cathy and see where they stand (especially because I know Cathy won't be too pleased about her leaving :P). So that sounds like it could be fun! :D
