Avengers~

Okay so we seriously need a chat about the Avengers. Whether you wanna talk about Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, etc.

Chris Evans is my god, just saying. ♥ Effing love that guy (doesn't help he's playing my favorite Marvel character since I was little). But can I say...the Avengers movie is amazing~

And how could now one have wanted to start a thread about the Avengers yet?

Best movie out so far!!!!!!!!!

I even gained a little respect for Iron Man after watching it. :D

Haha. I've never seen the Iron Man movies, so I have to see them since my best friend is an extra in Iron Man 3 since she works for Marvel.

But I wonder if they're gunna going on with more Avengers movies and hold true with all different Avengers because I seriously want to see the reaction of people who don't know that Spiderman was an Avenger~ :D I'd also love to see it out on the big screen and not just in a comic book.

Because fanfics for Avengers that include Peter in them with the crew amuse the crap out of me (Not that I'm a Spiderman fan, which I'm not. Life is all about Captain America~).

The whole movie was fantastic, hands down. And the official score was lovely, too. Alan Silvestri did a good job, in my opinion. I mean, perhaps it's not like, epic awesome, but it definitely could've been worse.

Am I the only man on this planet who ships Steve x Tony (Steve on top) and Tony x Bruce (Tony on top) and then Pepperony like.... Nobody's business?

Oh and lets not forget Tony x Loki because it's illegal and sexy. xD

Natasha just can get into my pants... *pushes legolas to the side* Mmkay~

I love them at Shawarma. It was hilarious. My friend was like "If they were just eating that the whole movie, I'd still go see it."

If they were eating the entire movie I would go see it too.

And as for Tony being on bottom. He would be, actually. He's super insecure despite what he may act like. Therefore, I see him as on bottom with Steve, he's also smaller, being a top that's smaller would be a little strange in my opinion.

But the shawarma scene was hysterical. I managed to watch it on YouTube despite that they didn't show it out here. I swear, Steve didn't even MOVE throughout the whole minute, and Natasha's and Tony's faces cracked me up so badly.

And it would definitely be interesting to see more Avengers movies. There are so many jokes circulating around about poor ol' Spiderman practically everywhere.

haha. It's because he's an Avenger from a diff gen. Although Black Widow isn't from their group either. It's Wasp and Antman.

Wasp and Antman were one of the original founders of the Avengers. They didn't get movies out for them in time so they couldn't put them in. Though odds are it will be an Antman movie (already confirmed), with Wasp in it. Kind of like Black Widow was in Iron Man etc. Black Widow was in the avengers. Just later, and Spidey doesn't join until way later. He did not form the Avengers. And there will be at least an Avengers 2 I don't know about 3... But obviously seeing as there is mother f**king Thanos at the end that will be a 2.

But first they have to spit out Iron Man 3 (2013) which I secretly hope is the extremis verse, Captain America 2, Thor 2, Hulk 2 and they also have to make a Black Widow movie the origin to her story (confirmed).

Now because a SpiderMan is coming out that means lines can connect to The Avengers 2 (Spidey maybe in 2) and Iron Man as well. I would love to see the Civil War happen in an Avengers movie. Because that is extremely beautiful and Captain America dies and Tony cries and that is always awesome.

Also, Robert Downey Jr has said that as long as it is lucrative he will continue to make Iron Man movies. That means as long as Disney/Marvel backs it and it keeps bringing money in, he will continue on to IM 4, 5, 6, 7 etc.. Until he dies. Which will probably helpful to motivate the other movies to catch up and create other lines. Means we might have a whole entire series at our hands!

I really, really, really enjoyed this movie.

Actually, to be honest, going in to each and every one of the superhero movies that led up to it (Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor) every single time I thought "this looks SO LAME!" And ended up loving it, so I was kinda excited for The Avengers.

One thing that I noticed about this movie, though - besides the fact that I enjoyed this Bruce Banner more, actually, though I'm no comics expert - is that every single one of the characters had so much depth. I'm going to attribute that in part, probably, to the fact that Joss Whedon is just AWESOME at ensembles, but still, each of the actors did an amazing job. The whole time while watching it, actually, I kept noticing how Bruce Banner was constantly aware of his surroundings and sizing up the room, you could see Cap's solider background in his actions, and so on. It was brilliant.

That was the first time in a long time that I've left the theater thinking "Wow, I want to go see that again."

Also, the Shwarma scene? Classic. So classic. Omg.

I really enjoyed the movie too. its a popcorn movie and not meant to create any lasting impression as such, but one post I found around the internet, provides a acceptable insight into the film, though its quite confusing to understand.

Yes, it is basically a forgettable popcorn action movie, airy and fluffy. One brawl action set piece after another with very little substance to be enjoyed between. I agree about Thor but I cant say the Hulk and Captain America movies were all that great either now that I've mentioned it.

I dont see this film providing much stimulating discussion beyond the final credits unless one is a serious comic geek anticipating the Avengers sequel.

I've never really seen a Joss Whedon production because I honestly thought Buffy was really dumb and I side-eyed at a bunch of his other stuff. So when I heard he was doing the Avengers, I was a little disappointed. Then I saw Cabin in the Woods a week before the Avengers came out and hoooooly crap. I had complete faith in the man.

What I really loved about the film was how evil they made Loki. Now, I'm a Loki sympathizer from Thor, but the scenes he had in that entire movie (AND THEN COULSON) made is SO difficult to even like him anymore. The chemistry between the entire cast was so amazing and you can tell they had a good time.

Someone on Tumblr said they didn't like the Avengers because they weren't sure whether it was a superhero movie or a comedy sitcom and compared it to the DC films (namely Nolanverse Batman at this point because no one really likes DC to begin with lbh). And I honestly find the humor in the Avengers refreshing - the Batman films are SO depressing that I just... get depressed.

._. Yah, Z loves Loki and I really hated him in Avengers (mostly because Coulsin amused me even though he was such a jerk in Thor). But I so agree with the chemistry. I love seeing all the interview clips and posts all over the place because the guys were so amusing working together (Like Tom Hiddleson (Loki) telling Mark Ruffalo's (Hulk) son that Loki ended up taking over the world at the end, or the kid was like "You were good in the movie dad, where's Tom Hiddleson?" because he liked Tom more than his dad in the movie).

I quite prefer Marvel films over DC... x.< Though I really never got into Spiderman and him being an Avenger makes me go "Wait. What?" every time. But I agree, the humor in the movie made it even better. Because if it's just all fighting and talking, it'll get a little boring. But the humor will keep people interested and laughing. The whole theatre erupted into laughter when Hulk just punches Thor out of the blue.

I remeber a poster that was posted to my facebook account . In frame, was speiderman, sitting below a street light and the footnote bleow read "It isnt fair, they didnt call me to join Avengers, Now I am left jobess". I honestly think a mix up with spiderman would make the movie go very far away from 'being enjoyable' though its my personal opinion.

Iron Man's humor was good, and perhaps the most breathtaking scenes were at battle. I could hear the audience laugh out loudly, when Hulk kicked Thor after a brief fight not containing his anger.

But I'm gonna pause for a second and talk about all my Natasha (Black Widow) feels. I.. have never been more in love with a character in my entire life. Like, I idolize this character - she is everything I want to be, but am afraid to even become. She's an amazing gymnast, a skilled marksman in terms of guns, AND RUSSIAN. I just - NATASHA WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A MOVIE.

Well... Spiderman IS an Avenger, not just in the group that they're showing in the current movie. It's in a newer Avenger group (there are actually TONS of generations of Avengers and the Avengers used in the movies aren't a complete group from the comics, but I'm not complaining).

Tony and Bruce together in that room... I was just waiting for Bruce to Hulk out and punch him in the face. I leaned over to my friend and went "And this is why Tony always gets punched by everyone, he's a jerkface." But Bruce was adorable in this movie~

And duh there is a bunch of different Avengers groups. But you have to take into consideration what we're working with in the movies here. And add and subtract factors, they won't use every universe (that would be NUTS), so they might as well factor in Spider Man into the universe they are using now. Duh.
