Do I have to apply to have a patronus?

Do I have to apply to have a patronus?

My character Pheonix, would have just finished Hogwarts and seeing as he took DADA, charms and transfiguration, I'm guessing he would have learned how to do a patronus. I have also mentioned it in a thread and before I actually RP him doing one, I wanted to make sure I didn't have to apply or anything...

Simply answer - no. Feel free to RP your character using the patronus charm, or learning it. As long as it seems acceptable for your character to do so, i.e no first years or Troll grade DADA, then you're good to go. :)
