FULL NAME: Theodore Remus Lupin
age:16
birthday 4/01/1998
Parents: Remus and Nymphadora (tonks) Lupin
NATIONALITY: British
PLACE OF BIRTH: The Tonks household in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.
HOMETOWN/CURRENT RESIDENCE: Still haven’t moved from the Tonks household in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. However, now it’s referred to as the Tonks-Lupin household.
ETHNICITY: Caucasian
BLOODLINE: Half-Blood/Half-Werewolf/Half----- Do we really have to get into this? It hurts my head just to think about it. Let’s see now… Grandpa Ted was Muggle-born and Grandma Andromeda’s a Pure-blood, which makes Mum a Half-blood. Dad’s father was a wizard and his mother was a Muggle. Additionally, he’s also a Werewolf. So that makes me a… little bit of everything all rolled into one, eh?
HAIR: You’re asking a METAMORPHMAGUS this question? Do you not know us at all? But if you must have an answer, my natural hair colour is brown.
I think.
EYES: See hair.
I usually keep them blue more than any other colour, though.
PERSONALITY & HISTORY
Teddy Lupin was raised an orphan like his Godfather, Harry Potter. However, unlike Harry’s childhood, Teddy’s was a happy one. His Godfather and Grandmother, Andromeda Tonks, saw to it that he was raised in a loving and nurturing environment. The two became the father and mother figures in his life, and he treats them as he would his own parents. Thanks to paintings commissioned shortly after the war in memorial of those who died in the Battle of Hogwarts, portraits of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks hang both in Hogwarts (in the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom and opposite the Room of Requirement, respectively) and in the Tonks-Lupin household where Teddy grew up. As such, he was also afforded a glimpse of his parents’ personalities through his conversations with their paintings. He has to constantly remind himself that it’s not really his parents sitting behind the frames… merely an impression of their personalities, memories and history.
When employing his natural looks without modifications, Teddy has often been told that he’s the spitting image of his parents combined when they were his age. He has his father’s thin frame and narrow face, both their pale complexions, his mother’s smile and twinkling eyes, and of course, her ability to change his appearance at will. Currently, he is in the process of studying voices and learning to mimic them in order to match the appearances of people he impersonates in his transformations.
Young Ted takes after his mother more than his father. Besides inheriting her Metamorphmagus abilities and being a Hufflepuff alumnus like she was, he is following in her footsteps by becoming an Auror. Known for his positive, cheery and good-natured demeanour, Teddy is always keen to lend a helping hand (though like his helpful mother, this occasionally leads to minor catastrophes).
Teddy is not necessarily as clumsy as Tonks was, and has a casual grace about him that is confident but never showy. Although he favours hair in every colour of the rainbow, he does not have a loud personality to match, and stays away from in-your-face behaviour and attention-seeking antics. Attracting untoward attention embarrasses him, so he strives not to be obnoxious. He is simply a chill sort of fellow with an even temperament and laid-back attitude. Very little fazes him excessively. He knows he has led a fortunate existence, so why sweat the small stuff?
In spite of his lack of klutziness, Teddy tends to be accident-prone in other ways thanks to his rather impulsive personality and habit of jumping head-first into situations without cautious thought. Leaping before he looks has gotten him into a fair amount of trouble at work, and he’s had to be bailed out of close shaves with death a number of times due to poorly-conceived plans of attack. Being reckless is not a good trait to have when you are an Auror, and it is something he constantly struggles to correct.
Although Teddy's Metamorphmagus skills are invaluable to the Auror division, Teddy is the sort of employee who often mucks up and has to be disciplined. He tries his best but accidents just seem to gravitate towards him. Many of the senior Aurors regard him with a mixture of fondness and exasperation. As an Auror, when Teddy nails an assignment, he can be absolutely brilliant. But when he screws up, he really screws up. He also seems to have a knack for getting those around him into trouble without meaning to. It's as if his body is a magnet for hazards, and as these assorted mishaps swallow him like a crashing wave, they drown the surrounding bystanders too.
As an older role model to many of the Potter and Weasley kids, Teddy tries to set a good example by being responsible, but it is another thing he has to make a concerted effort to accomplish, for he is not the most responsible man by nature. At times, he can be absent-minded, scatterbrained and easily distracted - requiring correction from his Godfather or his girlfriend, Victoire. In addition, he often slips and winds up being a bad influence instead, without really meaning to. A playful guy, he sometimes does not see anything wrong with egging on a bit of harmless mischief, even if it means leading someone younger astray.
Like his mother, Teddy has a great sense of humour, and enjoys popping in to Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes to see George and Angelina Weasley and their twins whenever he’s at Diagon Alley. He has no qualms about cracking jokes at the expense of himself or engaging in stupid stunts to get a laugh out of others. Anything to make someone’s day. At the same time, he has a mischievous streak, and has played his fair share of pranks and practical jokes on friends, family, rivals and professors alike.
Teddy has a large circle of friends earned with a combination of his mother’s humour, and his father’s eagerness to please and be well-liked. As an only child with just his grandmother at home for company, he sees every encounter with strangers as an opportunity to make new connections and forge friendships. A charismatic guy, he enjoyed a fair bit of popularity while he was at Hogwarts - helped along by everyone's fascination with his metamorphmagus abilities. Being able to change your face, hair and body at will is quite the conversation-starter after all, and he quickly found that people gravitated to him because of it. In addition, his parents were war heroes, and his father, one of the most prominent deceased werewolves in recent British wizarding history. Rather than shrinking away from the attention, he used it for the benefit of his popularity, and cultivated a solid network of friends and allies.
That is not to say that he had no enemies either. Teddy has had to fight off accusations of nepotism and unfair social advantage his whole life. After all, his Godfather is the legendary Harry Potter, and he is practically family to the Weasley clan, that includes Percy Weasley - the Deputy Minister of Magic, Hermione Weasley - the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Angelina Weasley - the Head of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad, George Weasley - owner of the successful Weasley's Wizard Wheezes franchise, Ginny Weasley - ex-Holyhead Harpies Chaser, Charlie Weasley - Head of the Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau, and numerous war heroes. Despite being an orphan, many might say that Teddy has had it made since birth. The idea that he has been successful at school and in life simply because of family connections has bred resentment and jealousy amongst some. Although Teddy does not like to admit it, the accusations bear a measure of truth. Were he not Harry Potter's godson and the offspring of war heroes, he probably would not have enjoyed as many benefits and breezed through his fair share of things in life. He likes to think he worked hard to earn the good things that have happened to him, and in some cases, this is true, but in others, he has certainly had help from influential guardians and friends of the family. Such incidents sour some of his peers who have not had it quite so easy.
Others are against him simply because he has werewolf blood, in spite of the knowledge that he is not actually a werewolf. There are a paranoid few who even believe that he is secretly a werewolf like his father, and has done a good job of concealing it. The wizarding world has made many advances in non-human rights, but some bigots still thrive in society. Teddy has encountered unwarranted prejudice on more than one occasion.
Despite bearing a closer resemblance to his mum in personality, tastes and temperament, Teddy has inherited a few traits of his own from his father, Remus. While too playful to be academically-inclined, his Auror ambitions drove him to crack the books at crucial moments while at Hogwarts. He is not studious, and hates nothing more than to be stuck indoors, memorising large chunks of text and theoretical magic. However, he is capable of industrious hard work when it comes down to the crunch, even if it goes against his primary nature.
Goal-oriented, he knows what he wants and does everything in his power to achieve his ambitions. At times, he is easily distracted from minor goals and loses focus to the frustration of those who raised him and his superiors at work, but when it comes to the big things in life, there is a fierce and relentless dedication behind his easy-going facade. The Auror training program is one of the toughest in the entire Department of Magical Law Enforcement. However, Teddy tackled it head on with an almost monomaniacal focus, never considering quitting for even one second. He might have complained about having to climb out of bed at three in the morning to practise drills in a swamp but he would do it anyway without question. He is good at following orders and self-discipline, so long as his reckless tendencies don't get in the way.
Like Remus, he has a serious side to his personality if you look hard enough, and this is best evidenced in his fascination with Muggle documentary films about war and history. He also has an avid interest in Muggle legends about witches, wizards and werewolves, and enjoys learning about actual werewolf communities around the world in order to better his understanding. He is able to converse about these topics at length - at times, in an almost academic fashion.
Additionally, the occasional prejudice he has encountered for being the offspring of a werewolf (or “cub” as some wizards like to say) has prompted him to research his heritage and support all campaigns against anti-werewolf legislation. He firmly believes that good werewolves who are responsible in dealing with their monthly transformations should not be discriminated against or treated differently from other witches and wizards, while vicious werewolves like Fenrir Greyback ought to be placed in the same category as other dark wizards and thrown in Azkaban.

HEIGHT: 6'1"
But this changes from time to time - Metamorphmagus abilities and all that. I’ve been known to shrink in areas with low ceilings, and shoot up when the need arises to tower over someone for intimidating purposes.
WEIGHT: 152 lbs/ 69kg on a normal day.
I'm lean in frame, have a ridiculous metabolism and have trouble building natural muscle mass - though fortunately, I have little trouble building muscles unnaturally via Metamorphmagus transformations. Thanks to this, I usually appear rather toned. It's fake-toned, but we'll keep that a secret and tell everyone that I work out.
HAIR: You’re asking a METAMORPHMAGUS this question? Do you not know us at all? But if you must have an answer, my natural hair colour is brown.
I think.
You know… I have no idea.
Grandma says I changed hair colours every hour after I was born. However, I tend to keep my hair chocolate brown when I need a “natural shade”, and don’t want to draw excessive attention to myself. My father's hair was also brown, and my mother's apparently was, too, when she wasn't sporting pink, blue or purple locks. As such, I claim it as my natural colour. So there.
EYES: See hair.
I usually keep them blue more than any other colour, though.
