Lancashire's Own Irreplaceable Circus, Blackpool Tower, Opens
On the 14th of May, 1894, Blackpool Tower, in Lancashire, has been opened to the public - allowing admissions of all ages for 6d. Standing at 518 feet high, or 158 metres, Blackpool Tower is one to rival even The Eiffel Tower in France.

A sixpence can gain entrance to the tower, though further payment can be given to ride the platform to the top, and additional funds upon entrance to the circus. Journalists evoked feelings of joy and appreciation upon their exclusive visit last year, 1893, and are positive it will make second-to-none entertainment for the entire family.

The Tower seems to have garnered interest from Magical and Muggle families alike with their elusive magical castings and illusions at night, though be cautious, as some spectacles may not be for the feint of heart!

New Magical Goods Deal Signed as the Manchester Ship Canal is Officially Opened
On the 21st of May, 1894, the Manchester Ship Canal was officially opened, linking the previously landlocked city of Manchester to the Irish Sea. Various sea captains, mariners, and sailors expressed keen interest in the structural benefit, and have agreed to become part-time merchants and tourist boats for the upcoming future from this docking location.

The Magical community has been swift in their uptake of new ventures; multiple partnerships with Dr. Scott & His Lucrative Inventions has been rumoured and discussed, with many posing possibilities of shipping electric corsets, arsenic cosmetics, and enchanted perfumes across the sea using this new port. Another sailor hinted that he would be delving into the libation trade, as there would now be an improved and expansive market for those in the North of England.
