NAME: Harry James Potter
DATE OF BIRTH: 31 July 1980
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Little Whinging, Surrey
EMPLOYER: Hogwarts
POSITION: Sixth Year

Concept: A teenage wizard determined to maintain his "normal" school life while simultaneously bearing the enormous weight of his foretold destiny.

Other Eras & Jobs:
  • Reformation - Auror -British Ministry of Magic
  • Legacy - Department Head of Magical Law Enforcement - British Ministry of Magic
Appearance: Harry has been told countless times that he is the spitting image of his father with his perpetually untidy black hair that sticks up in the back ; the only exception being his bright green eyes he inherited from his mother. Apart from his round glasses, the only other accessories he wears are the scars bestowed upon him by Voldemort and Dolores Umbridge : a lighting bolt scar on his forehead and the phrase " I must not tell lies" deeply etched on top of his right hand.

Ethnicity: British

Personality: Harry is a normal boy but with honorable qualities most admire. He is academically lazy and has a tendency to put off homework or school related assignments until the last possible moment.

Backstory: He was just one year old when his parents were murdered by Lord Voldemort. He attempted to kill Harry too, but was unsuccessful and only left a lightning bolt shaped scar on Harry's forehead. As a result, Harry was left as an orphan living with his only remaining family, the Dursleys, who are neglectful and abusive. On his eleventh birthday Rubeus Hagrid arrived to tell him that he is to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There he learns about the wizarding world, his parents, and his connection to the Dark Lord. When he is sorted into Gryffindor House, he becomes fast friends with classmates Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. They work together to solve the many mysteries the wizarding world has to offer.

Recent History (July 1996 – April 1997 ): When Harry entered his sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the world was in turmoil. Voldemort's army is gaining force and momentum, and tragedies are everyday occurrences. The Muggle world is experiencing great loss and havoc as well. It would seem that a war is at hand, and even Hogwarts isn't entirely safe. After seeing Draco Malfoy conduct sketchy business at Borgin and Burkes at the beginning of the school year (while on a school supply shopping trip with the Weasleys in Diagon Alley), Harry is convinced that Draco now works for Voldemort and is plotting something big.

Professor Horace Slughorn joins the Hogwarts faculty as the new Potions teacher, and he finds Harry to be a Potions superstar (thanks to a mysteriously helpful used textbook Harry finds, which once belonged to a former student known as the Half-Blood Prince). Dumbledore arranges for Harry to have private lessons with him every so often, insisting that he should take a bigger role in Harry's education. Over the course of several visits, Harry soon discovers that these private lessons involve traveling into the memories of those who knew Voldemort once upon a time. The final memory is one that Dumbledore needs most but is unable to procure as it belongs to Professor Slughorn, who has intentionally erased it using complicated magic. Dumbledore implores Harry to convince Slughorn to give him this memory, a task that proves almost impossible, as Slughorn will stop at nothing to avoid Harry once he knows what Harry is after.

As luck would have it, Harry possessed a good luck potion, Felix Felicis, which he earned for winning a contest in Potions class (thanks, Half-Blood Prince) and through a string of very lucky instances he was able to get the memory. When Dumbledore and Harry travel into this particular memory, they discover the moment at which Voldemort first learned about Horcruxes. The only way to kill Voldemort is to destroy every single Horcrux, which, Harry realizes, will be his ultimate goal and mission in life.

Meanwhile, hormones run wild at Hogwarts, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione's friendships are put to the test when Ron finds his first girlfriend in Lavender Brown. Harry began to realize that he has feelings for Ginny Weasley, Ron's little sister, when he stumbled upon her and Dean Thomas snogging in the corridor.

Current Goals:
  • Solve the Mystery of the Half-Blood Prince.
  • Figure out why Draco Malfoy is lurking around in the Room of Requirement and what his intentions are.
  • Help Dumbledore with his cause in defeating Voldemort once and for all.
  • Figure out how to ask out Ginny to be his girlfriend without upsetting Ron.
  • Quidditch - Captaining the Gryffindor Quidditch team turns out to be a really tough job. Everyone expects him to lead Gryffindor to victory, but his mind is elsewhere.
  • Homework - The sixth year homework load is intense, and everyone (including Hermione) seems to be struggling under the weight and difficulty of the work assigned.
  • Detention- Professor Snape has assumed the illustrious role of Professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts, and he proceeds to make Harry's life miserable, making sure to give him detention whenever possible.

  • The Order of the Phoenix
  • Dumbledore's Army
  • The Weasleys
  • Ron and Hermione
  • Hagrid
  • Dumbledore
Mental Strengths: Selfless, Strong Willed, Self- Reliant, Brave, Compassionate,
  • Ginny Weasley - She becomes his greatest strength and best source of comfort because feels the happiest when he is around her. She never asks anything more than what he can give and never expects anything less from the savior complex he suffers from. Ginny provides him with a sense of normalcy.

Mental Weaknesses: Impulsiveness, Quick Temper, Jealousy , Foolhardy Curiosity,
  • Ginny Weasley - She is his greatest weakness due to his ability to love deeply. He would protect her at the cost of his own life. This makes her a prime target for Voldemort and his death eaters. Harry comes to realize this at the end of the year.
Magical Strengths:
  • Defense Against the Dark Arts - Marked as the "Boy Who Lived" at one year old and as "The Chosen One" at sixteen , combined with Harry's strong desire to protect the ones he loves, it's no wonder Defense Against the Dark Arts is his best talent.
  • Flying - Harry is a skilled flyer. He inherited this from his father. This ability earned him the title of the "Youngest Seeker In a Century" when his ability was discovered by Professor McGonagall in his first year.
Magical Weaknesses:
  • Potions - His potion making skills are satisfactory at best. Harry doesn't follow directions very well (unless it comes from the "Half-Blood Prince") and is much too impatient to give the proper attention that potion making requires.
  • Occlumency - Harry is known to "wear his heart on his sleeve" and unable to hide or control his emotions. This makes it difficult for him to master Occlumency.
  • Non-Verbal Spells - He is unable to concentrate properly to achieve non-verbal magic consistently. He has more important things on his mind
Strongest Childhood Memory: Shopping in Diagon Alley with Hagrid after learning the truth about his connection to the wizarding world. It was there that he was introduced to magic and received his first proper birthday gift from the gentle half-giant who rescued him from the Dursley's abusive clutch.

Secret They'll Never Tell:That he uses his own sense of dark humour as a key survival mechanism. A sense of humour shared only by Ginny Weasley. It is, perhaps, the thing he loves most about her because she never takes him too seriously.

Pets: Snowy owl named Hedwig - A birthday gift from Hagrid

Wand: 11", Holly Phoenix Feather

Boggart: Dementor

Prized Possession: The leather-bound photo album Hagrid gifted him because it is filled with magical moving photographs of his parents and that's as close as he's ever been to his family apart from the mirror of eridsed that he discovered in his first year at Hogwarts.

Hello, Anon!

I'm loving your sheet! You seem to have really captured what makes Harry, well, Harry!

I think, if there was one thing I'd love, is for a bit of elaboration on what makes Ginny Weasley both a mental strength and weakness. What sort of strengths and weaknesses does she provoke from him?

But overall, I really love the details and am looking forward to having Harry on board again!

Hello, Vyreia!

Thank you for the encouragement. The impact Ginny has on Harry's strength and weaknesses has been added. I think that was an excellent suggestion! I added a few more details to hopefully show the deep inner world of Harry's character.
